See this thread from EN World as to why making comments about editions or responding to them is pointless. http://www.enworld.org/forum/general-rpg-discussion/266797-edition-war-flowchart.html Now if we could return to the thread topic I am keen to understand as much as I can about the system to help me decide if I should buy it.

I haven't bought the game yet but I probably will. I don't mind negative reviews but for darn sake play the game first then review it. IFit really doesn't interest you enough to play it then don't review it either.

Wow a whole review and all he seems to have done is open the box. I wonder if he reviews food by just walking into the restaurant.

45 minutes per combat with only 3 players (or did you add the 4th?) does seem long though I guess it may be because the players didn't fully understand the rules yet. I thought that without all the grid counting combat would be faster than that, hopefully it will be with system familiarity. Combat length is my biggest concern with DND 4E each combat take at least 45 mins to an hour. Compared to Dragon Warriors in which combat took around 10 - 15 minutes. I am hopping WHFRP 3e is somewhere in between the two. What have others found in terms of the length of time combat takes?

Thanks for this much appreciated. Can I ask for future adventures to include the stats of the creatures so you don't need to flip between books. Totally understand if this was done to save space in the trial adventure but it would be a big plus for me. Not seen the stat blocks yet so I don't know how easy it would be. Thanks again for the hard work and great results so far. -
I was very dissapointed to hear that my local store has been told that Esdevium won't get the material in time for there to be any preview events before the game is released. This was the same store (Fanboy 3) that Wizards of the Coast sent a member of R&D to during the launch event of the DMG2 Very sad.

Excellent. That is good to hear I plan on inviting my group to a taster session using the launch event fliers once I have the core set. Can't find anyone running the pre release in my neck of the woods. (UK - North West) So if anyone knows of any please let me know. Cheers Andy

I have reached out to a local gaming store in the UK - The Gaming Crypt in Altricham Cheshire. So far no response. I would echo the request for the adventure as well. I will be able to get my group to comit to a one off to try the game out especially if it is only 1.5 - 2 hours long. Really looking forward to this release.
