  1. The outline adds a lot to the look (and red and white are perfect Rebellion colors), but I don't know about the framing. I feel like Ackbar really should be a bit closer to the center, with a smaller exclamation point. Maybe with one exclamation point to either side, like what you see in Force Majeure's mock up.

  3. Or it is 1 ship out of 4 types, with 28 different pilots spread between them, for a faction that previously was part of a larger one and no longer has access to its resources. There was plenty to playtest and it is completely reasonable that something like this may not have seemed obvious to the playtesters. They are going to have their own focuses and biases as they work through lists and it is understandable that the first thing that comes to mind isn't "Let's stick three of our biggest boats in the same list and see what happens". As was pointed out, we have a great deal more ability to break the game down than a small group of playtesters and it took a couple months for this interaction to be discovered.

  5. Such a fun theme to build around! I feel like you caught them pretty well. Sandman in particular, as the adaptive ailerons gives the ship that shifting maneuver that you would expect from him. Report back with how it flies, when you get the chance!
  6. I've not had a chance to get it on the table, but I like the idea of getting a support shuttle into the mix. Jendon gives out early locks, Tarkin helps to keep them up, and Krennic can give Maarek that extra bit of punch for his attacks. I want to upgrade Maarek's talent (Elusive seems pretty popular), but I am not sure if I should be trying to increase my bid or just use the points with only one I5 pilot.   7. Since I had a little more time, I threw together a quick version of one of the suggested lists. Asajj is a pretty basic set up, working to try and leverage her ability to put out tractor tokens. Bossk is designed to put the enemy into a fork, since they either take stress and let you activate BT-1 or you get the calculate token and Lando can burn that on the attack. Marksmanship is thrown in as a cheap upgrade for the rare times when Bossk lines up that perfect shot. Finally, a Surveyor with Trick Shot gives you a squirrely little guy to try and get some extra hits in on the enemy. Plus, it is maneuverable and can fight in spaces the bigger ships would fear to tread. That said, Asajj really makes me want to try and find a way to put in Foreman Proach as another way to get cheap tractor into the list. You would have to trim Bossk, likely by replacing Lando with 4-LOM or Zuckuss, to make that happen and I am not certain if he is really that good. You could also go with Seevor instead, which will give you a fun way to really annoy an opponent.   8. Getting L3-37 in the Escape Craft, and tacking on a Tac Officer, only runs you 28 points. That will give you a ship that can coordinate and give you more actions for your two big boats. Otherwise, the Y-Wing really does seem like the best bet for a cheap, durable ship to support your other two. You could keep it close to Bossk to help cover his flanks and to buy him time to get turned around on a target. Ahhav is another cheap option for a third ship, since you can get him for 31 points with Crack Shot, and he will give you a nice punch against larger opponents. A generic MG Tie would work for an even cheaper option.
  9. I have never been a fan of Saw, but that might just be because I get my ships beat up enough without adding to the problem myself! I think you could trim some points by swapping him for Leia and picking up Intimidation. Now you can use your U-Wing as an effective blocker when needed, adding in a means to pull off red maneuvers for the team (though you only have the one on Magva) every few turns, and you still have points to spare. I have been seeing people talking about and using Elusive on Quickdraw as a way to help limit shield loss and, given the red maneuvers on the SF's dial, it should be fairly easy to regain that charge to use it again. Fanatical just takes too long to get useful on an SF, but it works wonders on regular FOs. Maybe go for one of those as your third ship? I am starting to love the idea of Midnight with Fanatical and Hull Upgrade myself. Kylo looks solid, though you could upgrade to Pattern Analyzer if you find that you have a spare point to use.

  13. If you are throwing in Drea, then you are definitely going to want to make sure you are running more generics. Her ability is great andwith a pair of Lok Revenant Scurrgs, you can do some real damage! The Black Sun Ace is pretty much required at that point.
