1. Enemies that have both craft and strength. Can you pick wich one to use when trading the 7 points in. Or does it have to be the stat that you used to defeat it.
2.If it says gain your full compliment of spells and you already have your full compliment can you draw your full compliment and then discard what you don't want?
3.The conjurer: can she pull any adventure card including places like the pools etc. (I played a two player game were she was very powerful and was able to power up by basicly sucking one of the pools dry. It was the one that adds strength and she got it all.)

1. We have one player in our gaming group who seems to think that the Dark Cultist can have as many spells as she wants even above what is aloud by her craft by using her Gift from the Gods ability. Just want to get clarification on this.
2. Can characters that take followers also take followers that donot have the key word follower? Example can the Goul's raised follower be taken and if so what gain does the character taking it get?

My friend seems to think since the Warlock Quests say must try to complete ASAP that it meens you have to try and do that first and you cant try to do anything else in the meantime. So an example would be visit the Cursed glade. You would have to go strait there, shortest route or if you have to take a life from another player thats what you have to try and do right away and you cant do anything else but hunt down another player to attack.
To me he is reading to much into the text and you can complete the quest when you can unless you have met the requirements when you first get the quest.
So my question is how is this supposed to be played?

I was the one who had the amulet in the game and everyone questioned wether those spells that take an object target the character or the item/follower they are trying to take. They were pretty upset that they could not take my followers/ items.

I apoligize ahead of time because I dont remember the card names. My question is in regards to the item card that has a lightning bolt amulet that makes it to were spells cannot be cast on you and you cant cast spells. Does this work for all spells or does the spell have to say cast on character? Example in the game I played we were wondering if the spells that allows a player to take an item or follower from another player still work on a player with the amulet? If I remember the spells do not say cast on another character I think it just says cast and choose a character and take an item / follower.

Hey thanks!! you were very helpful. Any sugestions for buying the expansions? Should I buy the large expansions first and then feel in with the smaller ones?

I just bought the starter set yesterday and played one game with a friend. We really liked the game and I look forward to buying more sets. Anyways on to my rules questions. I apoligize a head of time for these dumb questions. But these were some that we had after playing.
1. The Plot card Condemned by the Realm (says: When revealed, choose an opponent. Then, that opponent must choose and kill a character he or she does not control, if able. What does this mean exactly? A character he or she does not control? Does that mean he can then kill one of my characters?
2. When a attachement is put on a character can it later be moved? Didnt see any rule for this.
3. The Card Poisoned Wine ( says: Any Phase Kneel 1 influence to move Poisoned Wine to another eligible character.) Does the original owner of the card control this or the person who now has Poisoned Wine on their character?
4. The Card Khal Drogo's Tent What is the benefit of attaching it to your house card?

But you cant cast it again and still get the +9 from the first spell because it takes 2 hands to keep the spell going.

The card says "Any phase, cast and exhaust to gain +9 to all combat checks until the end of this
combat." -
So it only works for one combat round then you have to recast it? So what about in a normal battlewith a ormal monster does it work until combat is done with that monster or does it only work for one round?

Hello,
New to Arkham so I have a noob question. Dread Curse of Azathoth does it work the same when in the final battle? Does it stay in effect for the whole final battle?
