Also, I love how so many posts in this forum insinuate (in varying degrees) that those of us who are optimistic about WFRP v3 are fickle, shallow or are vacuously and blindly in love with anything FFG releases.

Me too. This will be the first FFG product on my shelves. I was thinking a lot about buying Rogue Trader too, but I won't have time to GM and play it, since I already have a HackMaster and a WFRP2 campaign, and possibly a WFRP3 in the (hopefully) near-future...

  2.  Books is the answer. no cards, no bits and tokens, no party sheets, no encounter levels. just juicy, fluffy background info with a decent system to play with.

So you say, that Spirit of the Century (FUDGE dices), Savage World (cards, beans), Castle Falkenstein (cards again) are immature roleplaying games? What a pity...

  3.  Hi folks!

So far I like what I read about the new edition. I hope we'll see some previews very soon (especially about the custom dices), and  a character sheet. A good character sheet often tells more about a game, than a thousand words. I'm also lookin forward to see the video about the seminarium somewhere.

(and it is borring : look the great wizard is going to solve the problem with a Wish spell !!!)

Well, not in 4e. We were thinking a lot about how Wish will look in 4e (possibly: "10d10+Int modifier damage, you push your enemies 10 square"), but they left it out for various reasons from the game.
