    I would not be afraid of Torkil, Palob and Dace are far more "Falcon killers" (if you really want to use this name).

    I think Palob has the better ability but Torkil will have the greatest impact on the meta, his down sides as mentioned above bybubblepopmei is his lack of ETP and that he's quite a target, but providing you can keep him alive for a first round of fire you can take all the shots you like at that falcon without losing ship and if you can manage it again you probably at hull level and can now land some crits with Greedo.

     

    Well, I asked, because even though I was sceptical about your testing, there is always a possibility that I don't know about some combo (I have not played Scum yet). Did you actually tried all HWK versions vs Falcon? It seems that you wrote "Falcon killer", only because skill 0 during combat. But this is nonsense, because you could write "Any ship killer" - any ship with skill 0 will be shooting last - don't you think? This has nothing to do with Falcon.

    I might be missing something here, but why exactly do you think it will kill Falcon?

     

     

    I guess maybe specifically Han - as Torkil makes his pilot skill 0. So everyone, including the Binayre Pirates get shots on net before he gets to do his dreamy-eyed scoundrel lady charming thing.

    But seriously, Dread Sovereign, why do you believe it will be a Falcon killer?

    If your problem is Whisper, then take Boba + VI + EU + Tactician and Decimator + Rebel captive + Vader. Your friend has no chance.

    Which Decimator Pilot did you have in mind with that build?

    It would have to be the patrol officer one.

    The rest of the points doesn't matter in case of Whisper, so take what you prefer. I like this one:

     

    Boba Fett + Ion Cannon + Veteran Instincts + Tactician + Engine Upgrade (49)

    Captain Oicunn + Predator + Darth Vader + Rebel Captive (51)

     

    ps. EU on Patrol Leader is not so useful, I think.

    To put it bluntly, any list that has Whisper in it. My friend uses him only against me when we play on Thursdays and it's gotten to where when he uses him, I already know I'm not going to win.

    The ironic thing about this thread is that all of these lists will be super annoying to Whisper. hahaha

     

    Well, I've been thinking of a list and here is what I've come up with so far;

     

    Kath Scarlet (38)

    Marksmanship (3)

    Gunner (5)

     

    Commander Kinkirk (44)

    Ysanne Isard (4)

    Mara Jade (3)

     

    total: 97 points

     

    A friend used the kath build listed above and totally thrashed me and I was told over and over that stress has the ability to stop Whisper. Any thoughts on this fleet would be appreciated

     

    If your problem is Whisper, then take Boba + VI + EU + Tactician and Decimator + Rebel captive + Vader. Your friend has no chance.

    Howly doesnt buff the clusters so what is the point in bringing her? I'd rather have another bomber, falcons don't like to eat 18 or 22 dice in an single round even if it's unmodified and spread over 6-7 attacks.

    Maybe you can get Jonus in there, that would make for some mean cluster missiles.

    Howlie's there because once the clusters are gone, the bombers are slightly tougher but less manoeuvrable tie fighters- with her rerolls they aren't totally hopeless.

     

    But they have a target lock, so as Joostuh says it's better to take something other.


  6. This gives you TWO PS 6 pilots which can make your activations go much easier as either one can go first.

    I will practice with my friend soon, so I'll try Fel first (I know he's good that's why I bought Interceptors ;) ).

    I have no skill though, so if one ship would not be enough, then I go with Dark Curse + Black Squadron Pilot w/ Veteran Instincts.


  7. Thanks, I have read FAQ but it's very possible I wouldn't remember about this at the tournament.

     

    Any small ship is allowed, but my pool will be: CS, Slave 1, Interceptor and Imperial Aces. (I don't know what to buy next yet - I need to play some games.)
