  1. Thank you, I used to paint 15mm Flames of War but I haven't been down that road in years lol. I am not much for dioramas, If I don't use something of the table top after a couple of years I sell it to make room for what I am currently playing lol. Most of my 40k is gone for that reason lol
  2. Here is my latest list. I'm hoping to give it a test in the next week or so. The plan is early high Suppression for the opponent. The goal would be turn two play annihilation looms, dumping one suppression on everyone and thanks to Krennics Strict orders pull off 6 of my own Suppression as things activate. The plan would be to have the Mortars close to the Shore Troopers so they can receive their order tokens after issuing orders to Shore Troopers, Krennic removing his and of course the Death Troopers rooms and there's do to entourage. Let me know what you think. 794/800 Director Orson Krennic --Strict Orders (5) Bossk Stormtroopers --DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) Stormtroopers --DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) Shoretroopers --T-21B Trooper (32), FX-9 Medical Droid (19) Shoretroopers --T-21B Trooper (32), FX-9 Medical Droid (19) DF-90 Mortar Trooper DF-90 Mortar Trooper Imperial Death Troopers --DLT-19D Trooper (34), Overwatch (4), E-11D Focused Fire Config (8) Scout Troopers (Strike Team) --DLT-19x Sniper (28) Commands: Voracious Ambition (1), Covert Observation (1), Deploy the Garrison (2), Reptilian Rampage (2), Coordinated Fire (3), Annihilation Looms (3), Standing Orders (4)
  3. You bet! The base colours I used were Ushabti Bone for the armour, Mournfang Brown for the pants and boots, Deathclaw Brown for the belts and Straps. Then a nice wash of Agrax Earthshade and that is it.
  4. It's my own mixture of a few different things from Scenic Express. Mostly there deadfall shaker plus a few other things added in. Can't quite remember which ones lol
  5. I'm going to be doing mine in Ushabti Bone as a base, a wash of Agrax Earthshade followed by a dry brush of Tyrant Skull. And of course command droids will get the appropriate colours. But my rank and file will be fairly basic and quick to paint.
  6. All I did was paint it the grey followed by putting on a heavy wash of Nuln oil then I just dry brushed Ryza Rust on it until it hit what I thought was a good level of rust.
  7. Second unit of Shore troopers are done, Now I just need that Dewback to show up.....
  8. I just use standard Citadel Paints. I have zero experience with the contrast paints, and I won't be using them either. Though I did just get an Air Brush so I'll be testing that out soon.
  9. I completely agree, Bossk is one of my best paint jobs by far. I'm excited to paint the Dewback and I'll use a similar technique on its scales.
  10. Thanks! I have a few more that I just haven't taken pictures of yet. I'll probably post them later tonight
  11. Last 4 months of painting in one photo dump lol
  12. So the list ran really great, Boba Fett was a fire magnet had the entire Rebel army shooting at him for two turns until he died. Bossk hunted down and killed Chewbacca while the Storm Troopers and Death Troopers did the majority of the heavy lifting but it was the bounty victory token that won me the game. We played the new Downed AT-ST mission. Though I will be removing Duck and Cover from both Boba Fett and Bossk. Not sure what I'll add yet but I need some better bang for my buck as neither Bounty Hunter really needed it.
  13. I'm not sure if I can find the points in the list without diluting its staying power or effectiveness so I'm going to leave it as is. I'm not going to us it mostly because the Dioxis charges are super situational and require you to be in the right place at the right time. The Covert Observation card has 5 units I can activate if I have a vital target or need to do something specific so it add that little bit of tactical flexibility.
