  8. Did you ever get an answer to this? I had byes in my tournament that I ran a few weeks ago. I gave the 6 prestige, but there is nothing to add to 'strength of schedule' and no agenda points would be scored etc. As a matter of fact, I see a bye as hurtful for a strong player to get first round of a tournament, but it does but them in the 'winners' bracket. Giving the bye to the lowest ranking player keeps them in the game a bit. Have you found a final/official ruling?
  9. https://www.facebook.com/groups/NetrunnerKW/ We have about 12 of us and we're working with other players in the surrounding area. Snakes and Lattes carries Netrunner in the TO area. I'm sure other stores do as well. We're going to be at Gryphcon: http://www.gryphcon.org/ We're gonna do an unoffical Netrunner tournament. People from Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Peterborough and other areas should be there. A great chance for us to network.

  11. Hey, If you get something serious going on in TO, let us Cambridge folks know. We've got about 12 players locally. We're trying to get some Local play more organized here. http://www.facebook.com/groups/497427616975486/ Check us out.
  12. Good day, I'm an experienced tournament organizer (V:tES, LOTR CCG, and CoC CCG) and I'm looking to get some organized play going for the local area. We have players meeting at least once a week at a local hobby store (Forbes Hobbies) and even during the week at players homes for deck testing/honing. http://www.facebook.com/groups/497427616975486/ This is the FaceBook group I have created for this cause. If you're in the area and are looking for players to throw down with, this is the place to do it. I have applied for Regionals to be held at Forbes Hobbies. Look forward to seeing and/or hearing from you. -Lindorm
  13. I just read the Big Sell Out variant and with some slight tweaking and play-testing, I think it's very playable and would prove to be a lot of fun.
  14. If V:tES became an LCG, I'd buy into it for true. Unfortunately white-wolf pulled the support. I've kept five playable decks in case friends wanna come around and feel nostalgic. As for a multi-player format (2v2) for Netrunner, a friend and I wanna start developing rules for Corperate Sponsored Runner. The Corp. gets an option to to use a click/action to move money down to the runner, the runner, when scoring an Agenda allows the corp to "activate" the effect and gain the benefit it provides. I think this idea could work. Just gotta work out "how much" can the Corp back their runner with 1 click. Perhaps the runner, after scoring an agenda can spend a click to send the file to corp so that they can access the benefit?
  15. Ah, I see now. After seeing the card's text I understand the difference in the wording and I am inclined to agree with you all here on that. Hence the reason I asked what the cards did . Thanks for taking the time to explain it.
