  1. Bomber. (While attacking a ship, each of your [crit] icons adds 1 damage to the damage total and you can resolve a critical effect.)

Does this mean a crit causes 2 damage, or does it just add 1 plus a critical effect?

Another player insists it means 2 damage plus a critical.

  2. The sidebar titled "Rebel Alliance Military Ranks" on page 393 might have some errata. The Navy column and the Army column both have Lieutenant listed twice. I wonder if the Navy column should have Lieutenant Commander listed under Commander and First Lieutenant listed under Captain in the Army column.

  4. I am trying to set up a campaign for my group that deals with a Tryanid invasion and I was wondering if anyone has tried to use the stats from the other RPG lines or if there are any balanced conversions for Only War.

  5. I think the only way to increase your force rating is through the force sensitive exile tree. This gives you a max force rating of 2 in EotE. From everything that is coming out about AotR and FaD it sounds like the force abilities will be expanded and allow a force rating of 4 in AotR and probably max out at 6 in FaD. In the long run though, I am just taking what I am hearing and guessing.

  6. It was mentioned on page 387of the rulebook, in the introductory adventure section Dark Hunters. Second sentence states "It is best used if the Squad chooses to exit their transport for some reason -or if they lost the Chimera due to a poor Logistic roll at the start of the mission."

  7.  Okay, I'm asking because I'm genuinely curious not trying to be critical or start anything. In your example was the gun mounted on a tripod? You said he picked the gun back up an iced on of the characters. Was this in the same round? The description in the book states that it typically takes two rounds for a two man team or three rounds for a one man team to bring the weapon to bear.
