HiJay, thanks for all the hard work that You and all folks on the FFG are doing!I hope that WFRP3 will be a huge seccess, for me the game looks impresive and has a big potencial. I can't wait for the release.
... putting the finishing touches on Project Thunderbolt, it's been extremely busy -- and productive. It was a close call, but we were able to end the week with a bang and post not one, not two, but THREE Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay updates before the weekend.O, finishing touches on Project Thunderbolt, You say? Hmm sound interesting. I wouldn't be suprised if the little box with "?" symbol on the front page would be Project Thunderbolt.
Now that would be a news. -
I think my players will choose one of two:
Luc - High Elf or Wood Elf
Tom - Wood Elf or Dwarf
Wik - Human or Dwarf
Bart - Human or Dwarf
Meggi - Wood Elf or High Elf
Asia - Human or Wood elf
Thic can be very interesing when they all will play in one group (sometimes I'm making two group of them and they are playing against each other - those are the coolest sessions).

Thanks Jay Little for all the answers. Now we know a little more of WFRP 3 core set.
-
If I can and if I'll be free that days I will go to my FLGS and see it, hoping even to play it.
I hope that FFG thinks about for all the other that can't or just don't have the oportuniy to take part in this event and they will release the demo adventure as a pdf on the site.

Yes, it ready I also think it is. We should write to FFG a letter so they would release it sooner the 30th november, I can't wait to buy it.
Please FFG release it now.

I've said this again and again. Roleplaying games are about story, not mechanics. If you have a good GM and good Players, the game will be fun. If you can't tell a good story with these tools (or any other tools) I have to question they quality of your gaming environment or, well... perhaps you really did pick the right name for yourself.
I agre in 100%, a good Gm makes all the best of the game. As a GM myself I can't wait to try all those tools on my sessions. Can't wait for the release of the game, I'm counting days.

Interesting that's true. I can't wait to try it home, please release the game as soon as You can FFG.
-
Will we see the demo adventure - "A Day Late, A Shilling Short" as a pdf file on the FFG site?
When will be WFRP released? When can we buy it?
-
I got a question about this demo adventure - will it be on FFG site for free download?
And I hope that the 30 november is the real release date , I can't wait to buy my copy of WFRP 3ed.

Yes, I'm a big fan of Jesper Ejsing works and I was wondering will FFG release a book with all his works made for FFG games?

I think that Runebound is fun but old. I'm very exited about Runewars and I will not cry when they close down the line of Runebound.
i think it will be better for FFg and players when the only titles played in the world of terrinoth would be Descent nad Runewars. When I have to chose I wpould buy Runewars instead of Runebound.
-
I'm also a GM and I'm buying all the book by myself. my players don't give me a peny for them but I still have much fun playing with them. It would be nice if they would give me some money to help me in our hobby but I don't want it from them - becouse I allways can say don't touch my precoius! ;p

All I can say at this point is "stay tuned." As more designer diaries are posted, more of these questions are being addressed. And additional details will be coming the closer we get to the official launch and release of the core set.
One question I can comment on with this is that there are currently no plans for a separate Collector's Edition. Players will already have their hands full (literally) with the core set it's a mammoth boxed set. The box is is approximately 4.5" x 9.25" x 11.5" and weighs approximately 6.5 pounds.
Cheers,
Jay
Wow, thanks for this news. The box will be in normal size like I can see but it will be heavy (with lots of goods). Can't wait for the release date.

All those minis for Warhammer really look nice. I t would be good to have some of them while running a session with friends.
-
I haven't seen nothing new in this dairy but it's not a bad thing for the new players.
And the structure system will be good for some scenatrios and adventures in the future. I can imagine that the adventures that will come out will be writen using this structure.

To Lucas Blackwood - yes I haven't saw that early post.

Now, looking tough the net I found myself o Diablo 3 site and then I got a brilliant idea. Why FFG would not do a Diablo board game? They have the rights to Starcraft and Warcraft so why not Diablo? This would be a bestseller. There are many fans of board games and the Diablo title.
This should be something big like a crossover of Descent and Middle-earth Quest with elements from a RPG games. So You would have Exp points and so on. A game from 2 to 5 or 6 players. With a amazing huge map, minis, tokens and all the great extra stuff. With lots of fluff and more. Now I think this would be a huge sucess. And one of the best titles in FFG library.
Or they could do a RPG game or bettes bought.

December? I hope I will get it befor Christmas.

I agre with Cogollo, this mechanics is more realistic and better. I also had a maschine spellcaster on my sesions (after 7 sesions he had 21 Curses).
The game looks fantastic and I can't wait to get my hand on it.
-
Good to know that, like everybody else I also wodered about that.
-
It sound better then the first news, this dice pack is a better version - more comfortablke for players.
-
Yes, a new and big campain is on the move. Like Jayt Little sayed they are playtesting it now. Can't wait to see it.

While more information will be forthcoming, this I can answer for you now. The adventure "A Day Late, A Shilling Short" includes pre-generated character information, so the GM can have the characters ready for play and everyone can dive into the action more quickly. After reading this I got only one question. Jay please anser us will we see the demo adventure on the FFG page as a pdf for download?
