  1. O Halflings will return like said JL but in a supplement in the future. But about the gnomes i would  not be so sure. But it does not change the fact that thopse were really fun races. I can remember one session when all players were halflings - it was one of the funniest of all adventures that we played.

  2. So for everybody who does not know till now in the core set are only 3 playable wizzards and only 3 playable priests.

    Wizards: Bright, Celestial, Grey

    Priests: Sigmar, Shallya, Morr

The others should be in the future in expansions.

As i know the Toolkit does not have any of priests or wizards carrers.

Good to hear that, I can't wait to get it. I will print it in full color and in darkness bind them together.demonio.gif  Yupi gui%C3%B1o.gif

Not sure about the 3-rd ed books (still waiting for them llorando.gif)

But I can tell You what I usually do to all my soft cover books, before I even open them.

You will need some mini drill (1-2 mm in diameter), needle and thread.

I take the book, and make 6 holes (on the line where book bents): 2 at the top of the book, 2 in the middle, 2 at the bottom.

Each pair of holes is about 150 mm between them.

Then I take the needle and thread, and saw those holes up.

    Result: no more falling pages.

Nice idea, those will for sure hold.

I would recommend 'Troll Slayer'. It's an anthology of short stories based around Felix and Gotrek. I've created several games around these stories. I've also created two campaigns. One based on the story "Dark Beneath the World", which ran for 2 years, and one from "Wolf Riders" which is centered in the Borderlands and it ran for nearly 3 years.

In fact, any of the early anthologies are packed with inspirational source material that embodies the spirit of (because they helped shape) the Warhammer world.

Some of the best ones are:

    • Ignorant Armies
    • Wolf Riders
    • Red Thirst

You know what Your talking about, those are great. I could only add some more like:

    • Drachenfels
    • Skaven Slayer (the 2nd book about Gotrek & Felix, my favoured)
    • Laught of The Dark Gods (I don't remember that title so I could switch some words, it was from the 1st antology)

I would say read some old books those were one of the best. I would also recommend Malus Darkblade chronicle.

  6. I think that when were talking about climate of Reikland  You can base on some Europe counties like Poland or Germany this would be the Empire in our world. So the snow is ok, sometime the winter can be very cold even -30 degrees Celcius. And Autums are very windy and with a lot of rain.

    Yes, wizards and priests !

I need Verena, Ulric, Hierophants and Death wizards !

Death Wizards? You mean Amethyst, I think that they will come later with a new supplement about magic. The some goes for priests - later i Think in a expansion about religion in the Old World.

    AJC

    Total:
    217+ = 5 packs of green $2.99 x 5 = $14.95
    254+ = 6 packs of yellow $2.49 X 6 = $14.94

    $29.89

    FFS03 Standard American 2 1/4 X 3 1/2 IN 56 X 87 MM Green
    FFS01 Mini American 1 5/8 X 2 1/2 IN 41 X 63 MM Yellow

(cut/pasted from my notes I made when placing my order - disclaimer: I got this info from other posts here. I ordered them already, but I haven't gotten them yet - looks right, but I'm only 99% certain.)

Thanks NezziR for this, it's good to know how many must I buy befor the game comes to my house.

  10. On my session I use pencil drawed maps. Every session, every adventure a new map. But with it I use the minis from other games like Descent, War of the ring or Talisman. But the only reason why I doing this is when thing get complicated like in battles when it's really importent where every character stands. I think there's no need to buy minis from WFB, buildings, trees or anything like that but it's only my opinion.

  11. When I hera "Project Thunderbolt" is remainds me of james Bond, it's good thats it's only a code name for thet secret project.

Getting back to the main title of this forum:

Do You remember Arianka - goddess of justice from 1st edition? There was written that She was beaten by a unnamed Chaos God and that He traped Her in a crystal coffin somewhere in the Old World. Her prision can be unlocked only by crystal keys, nobody know how many of the crystal keys there are and where they are. Nobody know even if the keys are hidden all in the same place. Some people say that's this secret [place where She is inprisoned is in Praag.

That's my idea to start my new campain in the Old World, the 3 heroes will be  hired by 3 other persons, they won't know that they will be looking for the same artefacts (crystal keys). But every one of them will have some other purpose to do that. I wondering how they will come out of this.

The adventure will start when they all, unknowing each other, will be ridding a carriage to a plaece called Dead Man's Pass on a stormy night. The first thing will be a thunder strike that hits a near tree and kills the horses. The carriage will broke on the middle of the road and our heroes will have to face the dark that hide between the trees.

What do You think of that?

I'm pretty sure that the main rulebook in the Core Set also includes decent-sized introductory adventure (different from the demo we all just played) like most other RPGs.

Not all of us got the chance to play it so it would be nice from FFG if they would publish the demo adventure "A Day Late, a Shiling Short".

The Tome of Adventure has a scenario to play but still one more would be nice, even if the demo adventure is only about 2 encounters and nothing more.  I Think that this demo is a good scenario for the first session of WFRP3 and gives the players the first rule to understand the machanics.

So please FFG publish the demo adventure fros Emperors Decree event.

Were Gnomes in a previous version of WFRP?  If they were than fine, but as it stands I cannot think of a single race in the Warhammer world that would fit their description.  Otherwise the rules for Ogres and Halflings (even though I hate them) are welcome.

Gnomes were only in the first edition of WFRP, but they were not a playable race.

Ogres were from the 2nd edition only in fan material.

    Halfling were always there.

  14. There's one more reason why publishing the demo adventure would be good:

it's a great adventure for the start like I heard so the players can learn and understand the rules.

So FFG please give us (fans from all over the world) the oportunity to read it and in the future to play A Day Late, a Shilig Short adventure.
