  1. Warhammer is a differnt world - it's dark, grimm and full of danger on every corner. Terrinoth is more high fantasy, we should not compare those two. What goes to the expansions - I want to see the old Descent heroes in the main game but the new ones would be also a really good thing to see. So I can only hope that DungeonQuest will not be only a single game but we will see some expansions with new traps, heroes and monsters. I'm really exaited and waiting for this title.

    Release Date?

talismanisland said: Well, we do know that it will have between 301 and 350 Mini American sized cards from the number of sleeves required! That's good to know, so I can buy them now and they will wait for the DungeonQuest to be avaliable.
  3. The next expansion will be small with cards and I hope some new characters. Then we will see a big expansion with the board mazbe Forest or City but one thing bothers me - the bvig expansions all look the same. We have a board, a big boss at the end, some new cards, new characters and that's it. It would be good to see some more advanced expansions with new rules. Just like it was with the earlier editions - every board had new rules and really was different.
  4. I'm glad to hear it, that the errata is umdated. Now I'm looking forward for my GAthering Storm - still haven't got it> my FLGS has not yet receaved it - I only hope that this week I will see it. And I'm waiting for some new suprises from FFG> I hope that soon after the event Mallueus malleficarium we will see a great new preview of The Winds Of Magic and a announcmet about the new supplement that going to be showed at this event.

    Release Date?

The release date for DungeonQuest is Summer 2010. So let's hope that it will be avaliable as soon as possible (maybe June or July). Yes, on the site there is no discription of components that will be in the box - I was looking for them too. Let us hope that FFG will give us a little preview if the game soon.
  6. talismanisland said: It has been said by FFG that this edition takes elements from the expansions and adds them to the main game. Those are great news, now I'm even more exaited about this game then earlier. But I also hope for some expansions in the future.
  7. You are not the only ones. Some time ago I made a post in the Wishing Well & Crystal Ball and I wrote there that it would be great if FFG would made such a title. An RPG set in the Terrinoth would be a very good idea. After all we have so many games set in this realm - Runebound, Runewars, Descent and now DungeonQuest so why not make a real RPG. Maybe in the future the dream will come true.
  8. Me too, I'm going to buy it. I never played the original edition but the game look so godd that it willbe a master piece in my collection of games.
  9. Does spells are looking cool. Even better that there is no spell with the same effect, it would be stupid if the Fire Wizard would have Fireball with the same effect as the Blue Wizard with the Magic Bolt - and only the name would be changed. I think Dan is doing a hell of a job with does cards. This expansion is looking more and more interesting - for me it's a must buy.
  10. Good news, so it is avaliable in the UK ang other Europe countries. I hope I will get it from my FLGS this monday - 26th april.

    When?

Does anyone know when DQ will be avaliable?
  12. Some Warhammer art sleeves would be great and more of Terrinoth art sleeves with Jesper Ejsing art
  13. You can use the Strange Eons program for this. There's even a plugin for the WFRP cards, so look and You will find.
  14. So if everybody is writening there speculations about the new supplement so will I. So this is my little wish list about The Winds Of Magic and what I would like to see in it: - now we know there will be a lot o spells but will there be some more new magic carrers (I hope yes) - there will be Tzeentch but I hope there will be more demons not only those of The Great Conspirator - when I look at the cover I see a Chaos Mage and a Elven Mage so I hope the new supplement will cover this (Chaos Magic and some Elves Carrers with spells) - Some time ago in one of the dairies where were shown cards with Orc Shaman magic and some Beastman magic (so I hope this one is also included it this supplemet) - if you don't believe me see for your self ( http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_news.asp?eidn=1088 - Behind The Design) - one more thing I hope there will be more then one book in it (I don't like when players are reading the GM section or some forbitten information only for GM, besides they don't really must know about all the dangerous of magic nad demons, do they? ;p) I think that this new expansion really will be worth buying.
  15. Watcher said: And Amazon US claims the GMTK has not yet arrived? WTF. Say what? How can this be, I got my GMTK today and I'm from Poland (Europe). Maybe that's true what they say - that GMTK is all ready soldout. About The Gathering Storm - You can easy use the GMTK with it but I don't think there's a special conection between them. One thing still bothers me - Jay said that TGS has arrived and that they are shiping it out to local stores but the status in the Upcoming section has not change a bit (it still is At the printer). So when will we see The Gathering Storm? And when the Living Index, FAQ and The Components List will be updated with the content of GM Toolkit an The Gathering Storm?
  16. 42! said: Picked up a copy in Denmark's Fantask yesterday, so it has come to some parts of Europe... Great news 42, so now I'm waiting for my copy hoping that my FLGS will have it in the next week.
  17. ynnen said: Over the next few weeks I'll be spoiling additional details... perhaps a look at the new corruption & mutation rules... maybe the design of the different College spell themes and mechanics... hopefully you'll all stay tuned to find out! I know i will stay . Can't wait for more details, thanks Jay!
  18. I'm lookig forward to this but why it's still at the printer in status in the upcoming section?
  19. Will we see it befor summer vacations? I do hope so, can't wait to read more about the magic nad to see some more new spells. It sounds like a new, big and really great supplement. Like I said befor I will said it agian - the WFRP 3ed grows stronger with every new expansion! Thank FFG nas special thanks to Jay Little and his crew for such a great work they doing.
  20. I only hope that after the event those sneak picks will be published on the FFG site so everybody can see them. This would be great especialy for those of us that won't get a chance to be at Malleus Maleficarum.
  21. Based on my knowledge for "Shifting Shadows" and Malleus Maleficarum this year we should see: - a big compendium od Magic (not only the Empire mages will be included but also Chaos, Beastman and Orc magic) - a supplement like a Beastiary or Chaos expansion (it's not clear yet) - after the Gathering Storm this year we will see a new adventure. What's it gona be nobody knows. A little sneak pick will be on Mallueus Maleficarum. For the rest we must wait tillthe officail announces.
  22. Maybe FFG would do some plastic stand-ups just like these that are a part of such games like Arkham Horror or WFRP 3ed? This would be great becouse FFG stand-ups are clear, not to big and not to small, and the most importent thing is that every character from every FFG game fit to them. They could be selled like tokens in packages with 20 pieces.
  23. I hope I will get my copy next week. After eeading the reviews on the net I'm getting really exited about this one. All the new stuff and hooks for adventures are looking great. Can't wait to see it and read it. And if anyone would still think when it's going to be in Europe the anwser is 8-10 april.
  24. Sinister said: I just like to say Hire Shane Hensley that worked on this product to do a vampire wars campaign or a mordhiem campaign box set. Thanks! A MORDHEIM box set would be great if not one of the best supplements for WFRP ever made.
  25. It's looking really well, can't wait for my copy. Anybody knows when it will be avaliable in Europe?
