  1. I'm definitely up for some investigation. By the way, for rolls, will we be using the honor system or an online roller based on the site we'll be using?
  2. Dark Heresy. Don't have the supplement, sadly.
  3. Hey guys, I can't seem to get the character sheet on FFG here to print, and when it does, it is either extremely blurry or parts of the page are cut out. Any other sites I've tried haven't worked. Can anybody help me here?
  4. Well, you could use the honor system, but IMO, Making a good story that everybody enjoys is better than following ALL the rules.
  5. Well, I had this neat Idea and here's what it is: Figuring out what you like to fight/kill. What I can think of is: Hereticus; Mutants, Psykers, Hereteks, Witches, Criminals, Chaos Worshippers. Xenos; Sentient Xenos, Semi-Sentient Xenos, Beast Xenos, Orks, Tyranids, Eldar, Kroot, Necrons, too many to count. Malleus: Daemons (Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh, Nurgle), Warp Predators, Daemonhosts, Demonic Mutants. And Imperatus: Navy, Guard, Arbites, Astartes, Citizens, Enforcers, etc. That's it, I couldn't find the poll options.
  6. I'll look into it. The only reason I didn't want the 'Heretical' Game, is that I'm christian and am rather puritan myself. The setting has a lot of catholic influence, but I'm protestant, so yeah. Hopefully I can find one, thanks.
  7. I didn't read through the whole topic, and didn't hear that episode of the D6 gen, so that was all in my head, just didn't hear anything about it assumed it was bad, hoped it was good. That simple. I'm glad, but the fighter bomber stuff I was really looking forward to, and you have to buy so many bloody books to get all the stuff, right now, I wanna buy this, Deathwatch, and the Koronus Expanse, and I don't that large of an income.
  8. I didn't have time to read the topic entirely, but is it true that there are only stats for 3 vehicles, no kroot career and no fighter/bomber attack run stats for space combat? If that's true, bummer, but I'll buy it anyway. Cause' it's got stuff and I don't give a ****. Anybody know if this is true?
  9. I've tryed RPOL, but couldn't find any games- well one, but it was pretty much the 'heretic game' and I didn't give a **** about it, I would've liked one a little more 'puritan' but there wasn't one I could find. And the fact is that I'm looking for RT games now, PbP not chat program. Thanks for the help. If anyone finds something, please post.
  10. Hey guys, I've recently been itching to play RT, and have never played before, but have memorised most of the rules and have no RP group. I'm looking for an online RP, preferably forum, and I would like to be plugged directly to the character signup, because I can never seem to find the bloody game session. I've done this before with DH, but never actually found the sessions that I would like, and those I did find weren't the kind of campaign I wanted. Can you guys help me out? ~For the Emperor's Bloody Sake CAN I PLAY A GAME EMPEROR DAMMIT!

I've seen them in 40K games, in Space Hulk games, and in Epic 40K games. I've even had a RPG with a female primarch. People have been making female marine armies back to Rogue Trader days. I've even got a magazine with a published scenario that has a female marine chapter in it. There ARE female Space Marines, whether you want to stick your head in the sand try to protect your ego by pretending they don't exist or not. Riiiiiiight.... and I suppose Orks have genitalia too? Those examples are all player-made and would entirely **** up the game from a consistency standpoint. For the record, you can do whatever you like in homebrewed games, because they're ******* HOMEBREWED, I am seriously mad that people are so mad over this **** thing. YOU CAN HAVE THEM IF YOU WANT BUT THE WON'T BE IN THE ******* BOOK! Dude chill out man. ITS JUST A GAME! Let others do what they want in the realm of RPGs and homebrewed. But you sir seem to take things personally... LIke as if someone kicked your dog into a speeding semi-truck....on your birthday... The reason I'm so pissed is that people try to push things on everybody else, they should just do what they and their group think best, don't try to tell other people how to play. The addition of a Female Space Marine into an established franchise would publicly A. Probably cause GW to freak out and get Deathwatch off the market. B. Promote Feminists. C. Say that the history, all the books, the games, and the tabletop game mean jack ****. So, in answer, no I don't think it should be in the book. But if you want to play them, fine by me, just not in my group, there's no rule that says you can't and there's no mechanic for gender, so GO CRAZY.
  12. Personally, I'd rather just charge in and hit em' in the head with a chainsword. And this looks pretty interesting, although a little stat-heavy for a LARP, as far as the ones I've looked up.
  13. I agree you could, but how're you supposed to say it hit you when there's no projectile? I mean, you could if you want but you'd have to make your own sound effects, which would be hilarious.

  15. Indeed. By the way, I'm not saying you can't have female space marines, just that it doesn't seem quite right for the universe. Use them, if it makes your players enjoy the game and the story better, but I won't be using them in my games. Remember, just because someone says something doesn't mean you have to agree. It's just their opinion.
  16. How the heck are you supposed to LARP with guns? I mean, who's going to play fair when they don't have to touch you? "Ooh, got you in the head." "No you didn't..." "Yes. I did." "HERETIC SCUM! EAT CHAINSWORD!"

FFG has been quite helpful, giving us RT and Ascension and now Deathwatch and linking the three of them together to use all kinds of characters between them. I am quite content, but I do not speak for the females in this discussion. This may be true for your games, but you can't tell other people how to run their games. If someone wants to incorporate female marines in their games, then that's theri choice. How can you tell them that they can't do that? Fluff? Sure GW have never, and will probably never make female marines, but GW does not get to dictate how someone plays a game based on their IP. I think everyone who wants to include female marines in their game should do so, and those who are against it should focus more on their own games and less on telling others what they can or cannot do. Well, yes, but then you wouldn't be playing 40K, but some other twisted dark alternate reality where women are called brothers.
  18. ItsUncertainWho said: Puritan in thought, Radical in deed. Like almost all radicals.
  19. We should all seek forgiveness from the Emperor. Well, except for the heretics. Besides, I'm a Blood Angel, of course I'm going to go into the BLACK RAGE when I get flamed, I was angry, true, but I didn't see my first post as ANGRY, just a little frustrated, But I'm glad this is all cleared up now. And did you really think that I was getting super-pissed? I used 40K type dialogue man...
  20. Well, I was just thinking it would be cool if i could see (Well, everybody...) if you consider yourselves a Radical, or Puritan? The most twisted are the ones that think they aren't.
  21. Thank you very much asshats. Remind me not to ask you guys anything again. Burn in the fires of the warp, heretic scum.
  22. Well, the 40K universe is pretty Fu**ed up, and there's a lot of sexism in it, But seeing there are no male SISTERS of Battle, I see no reason for Female Battle Brothers. Case and point. Besides, they'd have to add ''Breasts" to the 'Breastplate' and that would be heresy. HERESY!!!!!! HERESY I SAY!!!!!! Not that you can't play a female in deathwatch, just not a marine. FFG has been quite helpful, giving us RT and Ascension and now Deathwatch and linking the three of them together to use all kinds of characters between them. 23. Sorry, I was really pissed when I wrote this, because well... It said it was in the book, I looked for it for two hours, and I didn't mean to come of as a Troll. So, Sorry. Thanks for showing me the PDF, because I had no Idea there was one.
  24. Hey, Uh, FFG, I don't know if you guys have noticed, but I payed $50 for the Radical's handbook, which is incomplete, because in the alternate Ranks section, there is no Saboteur Alternate Rank IN THE BOOK. Could you guys do an errata, or something, because I reeeealy wanna know what the rank is like so I can have my money's worth.
