  1. Troublesome for me as well... I do own a SurfacePro as well and I use the Windows 8 application on it, but I would really have prefered to get an App for that too. And I disagree on the cost, sorry... The Windows Phone community might be small, but if you build a full store app it will run on phones as well as "normal" Laptops, which gives you the biggest market of them all... But well, I still love the game...
  2. And I am not particularly happy about this... The tutorial is great and helps you get into the game quickly, but there are enough situations (even between games) where I would like to have a rulebook PDF around to look up particular questions... So it would be nice to see one get somewhere...
  3. Hi Rust! Well, I own both games and they both have their charms... Runewars is a bit easier to learn and play, making it a better choice when playing wih people that are not regular players of FFG big box games. Another pro for me is that it's based in the Runebound/Descent universe, making it quite easy to grab if you know those games. A little contra in my opinion is the fighting system. The card based system is interesting, but uses a bit too much luck for my taste. A second one is the gameboard. sometimes there is not enough space on the tiles and they tend to move on the table too much. Starcraft on the other hand brings in the complexity. The order system makes a great starting point for a wide variety of decisions, giving you more flexibility. The fighting system is a bit better than the one in Runewars, although I also don't like this one too much. Additionally I like the miniatures from Starcraft much more than those of Runewars. Unfortunately they are also a contra... The plastic stands of the flying units tend to break. I also think that the units are all much too close together regarding strength/combat effectivness. But that might just be because the combat system itself doesn't favor my style of playing. Compared I have to admit that I can't give you a singular advice. I like Starcraft more, but that's mainly because I prefer SciFi to fantasy. ;-) Greetings from Hell Lucifer
  4. I did not see any major changes, all just explanatory... But I have only browsed through the online rules quickly...
  5. Is the new edition worth buying? My old one is starting to look scabby by now...
  6. We normally create the whole galaxy randomly, including the home planets. Makes for much more fun...
  7. I am not so sure if I like that idea... I play StarCraft a lot and so far found the victory conditions better than the ones in TI, or maybe just more fitting for the game... Greetings from hell Lucifer
  8. It's a pity, I really like Doom Board Game... But well, there is always Descent...
  9. I second the question. It has become quit quiet around Descent lately...
  10. Are those even corrected in the current print? Does anyone know?
  11. It's a petty that this game is no longer expanded. So I agree, one big box with everything would most likely be the best course for a reprint.
  12. I am still happy that this is not an LCG. I like the idea of LCGs, but sometimes I prefer games that don't require me to buy new parts every other week.
  13. Agree to Harliquine... This game has so much potential... I hope they use it. Greetings from hell Lucifer
  14. I think that it would be time by now to remove the game from the upcoming games section... This is more than ridicolous by now...
