  1. what i think this game needs now that it is dead is an official rules list/errata now i know there is a thread currently but it hasn't recieved any new erratas in months.  now the reason i am bring this up is contradictory rules statements such as whether dark/villains are unique or how finklestein and other halloweentown friends work. i think one official document we can all agree on (well at least the mods such as troth or dawn) can fix that i saw it work in another game i used to play called anachronism that ended up getting canceled.  it's simply much easier with all the rules in one place rather that going hunting in the forums only to find contradictory rulings.

  3. i believe that i read here a ruling stating that you can run both the attack card Oblivion and the equipment Oblivion (and i assume the same goes for oathkeeper and olympia) but would you able to play both during the same turn (or does it invoke uniqueness rule)

    also in regards to the new Peter Pan being a Magic/Friend could you run both (3 lvl 1 friend and 3 lvl 1 M/F)? and again would uniqueness prevent you from playing both?

    Lastly since the new magic cards say "Magic/Attack" now i doubt it works like that but my friend wanted to know since it is a "new card type" if you can run both the new and the old magic cards (3 Fire Magic and 3 Fire Magic/Attack)?

    hopefully this will all be cleared up in the erratas but in the meantime thanks to whoever answers these questions

     


  4. so just to wrap things up

    1. Mushu gets double the support is on lvl 2 wonderland but not wisdom form

    2. with ariel out you can pay up til -2 of your life (assuming you have the one that prevents -3) because if you pay anymore you are at 0 or negative which means you lose.

    did i miss anything?


  5. 1. the new mushu shouldn't is say "battle OR challenge phase"? and also with mulan out can i keep using that effect each turn (or phase) to make him huge later on?

    2. with the new blizzara/thudara/firara does the +1 gets factored in before or after the double effects of wisdom form?

     


  6. i vote that it is not constant for this reason.  It contradicts the ruling on another card, the dark card that says the player attack value is 0 when battling it.  Now i asked about this ruling because of the fact that the rules says attack cards, friend cards, and magic/friends all RAISE the players attack value! so when battling or challenge the damage given by the those cards are not separate but all part of the players attack.  but alas the card was ruled that it only effects the base stats of the player.  so with winnie out it doesn't make sense to all of sudden include equipment in the equation seeing how equipment serve the same function as attack, friends, etc.  i don't see why winnie wouldn't work for those but work for equipment?

    am i missing something?


  7. 1. if valor form sora is wielding two kingdom keys does the opponent lose twice the damage? For example: lvl 3 sora vs lvl 10 ansem would lose 8 with just one but 16 with two

    2. can roxas equip more than one equipment through hayner's effect?


  8. 1. do cards that deal with dark cards such as traverse town lvl 3 affect Dark Riku?

    2. With Kingdom Key is the damage dealt due to the difference in addition to normal -1 hp loss?

    3. Since the new magic cards also have "/attack" does that mean you can search them out with the old lvl 4 Goofy?

    4. With Jafar Genie since it is played after Jafar has been defeated the player has to  wait til the next turn to battle it correct?

    While i might not post here too often, i too have been an player of this game since its inception and have starting a playing community within my area ( i have introduced about 10 people to the game) and am also dissatisfied with the awkward rulings and phrasing, but the lack of support. i play this game because it is different to the other ones i play (VS., Magic, WOW) and with its simple premise should not be this overly complex.  i love this game and hope that it lasts more than two more sets


  10. so to sum up you have to wait a full turn before you can use Minnie's effect (the "at the beginning part") and even then once you get rid of the dark cards you cannot play a world afterwords because it is discarded per the effect. am i right so far?


  11. the fact that level 1 Ariel gets a card that discards herself and has the additional backdraw of not allowing triton (for some reason) i mean i thought this set might at least attempt to make an ariel deck remotely viable. also the fact that Peter Pan is now a magic/friend, that jack sparrow is essentially a cloud killer [i know pretty much any level 4 but simply the fact that there is increasing cloud hate cards (but no seph hate)], and that Phantom is a heartless version of Alice

    oh and not reprinting level 2 donald or goofy, no level 3 jack and only level 3 beast (which will be finished up in the next set hopefully)


  12. Can someone explain how heartless work as friends.  In particular in regards to uniqueness.  On the dark/player card it states that you can have more than one copy of the same card out but i have seen rulings here that says you can only have one out at a time.
