  1. Thank you very much, I am glad we played it correctly, have nice holidays
  2. Hello to everybody and merry Christmas of course. Having played our first game with Dragon expansion, some questions aroused. 1)For example, a character decides to face up the dragon scale instead of the space. As a result, a card from the respective dragon deck is drawn. The character loses the battle vs the dragon and his/her turn ends. If another character lands on the same space should he/she draw a new dragon card if he/she is about to deal with the dragon scale or the remaining card is the representive of the specific dragon scale? I assume that there is no need to draw another card. But sometimes after the game evolves there can be dragon cards from the green dragon deck and a yellow scale in the place. In this occassion of course,if you wish to encounter the space you should draw a yellow dragon card and then deal with it along with the other cards. Furthermore,if there is an order to draw card in a space,if it is occupied by a dragon card, then you should not draw another because there is already the dragon card. Is this correct? 2)While being in the inner region, when you fight the dragon monsters with craft(if you take the strength path),the space stipulates that you should add the scale tokens of all dragonic lords. In my example there were 2 tokens so the dragons had craft of 4+2=6. In teh next round there were more tokens in all dragonic lords. My opinion is that you will fight the dragons with craft equal to their craft value and the tokens that were in play when you first encountered the space. Does not matter how the game processes after in terms of dragon scale tokens. Hope that I am correct. Also, while being in inner region I drawed tokens but of course did not place them on the spaces 3)Finally,when an inner region is full of dargon scales, then the next scale you draw is discarded and you face the dragon rage of the dragon master. So the area remains overloaded with the remaining dragon scales. Unless you kill dragon cards and claim the dragon scales you will be facing dragon rage constantly. Isn't this a bug of the game?Or am I missing something? Thank you for your answers
  3. First of all,I woulf like to thank you very much! Just a clarification. 1)Because it is not mentioned in the forum topic that you suggested me and the case is slight different,in my example even if the player B diverts the spell,he still suffers from it.You said that my basic thought was correct so I assume that this is correct too. 3)Oh,my friends will lynch me cause we were gaining spells even if we had the allowed number. This of course means that you should cast spells in a higher frequency if you want to be benefited by such cards.
  4. I was reading some forum issues and related answers and what I saw triggered my curiosity to pose some questions too 1)As for the Hydra Spell,a relative issue occured while playing.I cast Toadify on character B who immediatedly cast Hydra Spell and decided to affect characters A(me),C,D. So,what happened? I rolled a 6 which actually toadified character B and then in my opinion, character B becomes the caster so he rolled the die for characters A,C,D. I want to emphasize the fact that with Hydra Spell you do not avoid the initial spell, just decide whether to split it to affect other characters and then you become the caster. Am I wrong? 2)About the Talisman deck.I once read that if the Talisman cards that come from the Talisman deck once they are discarded they return on Talisman deck thus becoming available. I believe that cards like Warlock Quests,Quests Reward and Talismans from Talisman Deck, once they have been discarded by any means, they are NOT returning to the decks. This makes also harder to find a Talisman and you need to attack other characters or praying to be lucky enough to find one in the adventure deck. What about this?Have I stated it correctly? 3)A noob question now.If you are about to gain a spell and you already possess the amount of spell allowed according to your current craft, you do gain a spell but discard one of your choice so thta you are within the allowance limit or you cannot gain a spell because you already have the specified amount of them? 4)Howl of the Wendigo, discards when you manage to take a life.It is prevented by armour it is still in play.Correct? These events that last for rounds are being placed somehere central or in the board that they were firstly drawn? Another example is sthe event that you take 1 gold for each time you roll 1 on die. Should it be left faceup on the space it was drawn or put it somewhere in the middle so that you may remind it 5)This one is the last and silly question. When you take the Hag as a follower, the previous followers are being sent to discard pile not be left in that space because the card stipulates 'discard them'.Hope to understand it correctly Happy new year to everyone and thank you for your time
  5. This is what I understood from the rules nut I think it is making quite easy the game and gets you out of troubles such as unexpected Grim Reaper visits in the same round. Thank you again! Another short question. Rules write I think, that creatures defeated such as farmer strength 3 in village do not count as trophy points. How do you play it?It would be nice counting them except those in the inner region
  6. For example, you use fate to re-roll a die for a movement. I think that if you encounter an enemy you may not use fate again because you used it before. Is this correct? Furthermore,if another player sends you the Reaper before you play again you may use fate again? So,the general question is,can you spend all your fate in one turn? Not of course for the same die-rolls but for others?
  7. OK I must now announce the specification in my company. They will of course lynch me,because we played it wrong with my responsibility Thank you again,I hope I will not trouble you again. I want just a comment from you. A guy told me that if you are about to lose a craft or strength due to failure while attempting to open portal of power, you must lose it even if objects provide you with it.Otherwise,if you have 6 craft due to your own 4 craft value and 2 by Solomon's crown,if you fail to open portal of power then you must fall to 5.How do you judge this state? Have a good night(even if it should be day in U.S.A)
  8. First of all,I vehemently thank you because the questions were actually too many! I would like to make some comments in your answers(although they were answered in full detail). 2)I should have been drunk because I have the english version and of course it is the gathering.Pretty rough card if you draw it.I just wonder about the priest taking onw spell per spirit cause yes you do not battle them, but if they were to be battled they would have been counted as one. 5)Thank you for the clarification,I assume that if you have a number of normal followers, you choose which should become wormfood. 6)I am still confused about the pick/because in the FAQ by black industries it said thatyou could pick a number equal to the ones that could have been dropped.E.g. in the forest sais draw 1 card.Let's say that you have 4 cards there due to a toadify spell. Can you pick all the cards or just one?And you count followers and objexts the same?Meaning that if there are 2 followers and 2 objexts,if you can choose 1 card, then it should be 1 follower or 1 object. 7)So if a Talisman is dropped in Mines, you first pick the talisman and then encounter the mines. A new question arose in my head.If you are good and you land on graveyard where there is another character or event card 'enemy' type. You battle either cjharacter or enmy but you do not lose a life then(cause you do not encounter the space).Am I correct? Thank you again!!
  9. I think that you may ditch the cards at your turn but not followers that negatively affect you such as Poltergeist,Cursed by a Hag,Jester etc
  10. I have read in unnoficial FAQs that magical vortex does not affect the spells of genie.I have only the Reaper expansion so I cannot answer the effects on the other card that you say,but I can imagine that if it is similar to genie then it ios not affected by the magical vortex
  11. No,Geoff if I am not wrong, you can use fate just for one die in all cases. So,even if you roll 2 or 3 dices, only one may you change via fate
  12. 1)I have read in some topics that if you fall in City or Village you optionally choose what to do unless you cannot do anything else. For example,if you do not want to turn any object into gold or heal any lives you must encounter the witch there. So,I assume that you cannot do multiple things such as heal yourself and then roll the die in the witch. Also, when you visit mystic and have Priest,Knight or Monk does this count as praying so you can add to the score?I think not because it does not write the word pray(I have the black industries board and the upgrade pack does not stipulate anything) 2)Another big issue that occured was the Summoning card.Firstly,do you gather the Spirits there and encounter them or not?Secondly, after Summoning is discarded so do spirits or remain there until someone defeats them?If so,I believe that the Priest will receive one Spell because they together fight as one if he chooses to defeat them via his ability 3)Another interesting issue that occured was the next: I had the Dark Cultist as a player and my life value was equal to 1.I had to draw 3 cards,1 gold,1 enemy with low strength and lesser demon.I dealt with the cards following the number sequence they had.Having defeated the enemy with strength, dark forces rewarded me with one spell which was 'healing'.Before fighting lesser demon I used healing and then I lost one life which meant that I was left with 3 lifes cause I cast the 'healing' spell. Were my actions right or I could not cast the spell before fighting lesser demon so I cheated them? 4)You have the poltergeist as follower and then you get enslaved.Do you roll a die,or because you have the Poltergeist which means you do not roll a die,you are eternally enslaved? If the Idol is in woods space and you are enslaved can you declare building a raft instead of moving and then travel to the directly opposite space? 5)If a die roll is equal with 2 when death visits you,you then discard randomly a follower. This means that you choose the follower that has to be discarded or you do something as the wewrewolf card, when you roll a die and then randomly a follower is discarded?Somewhere I have read that you cannot sacrifice Jester,Cursed by a hag or Poltergeist in Vampire Tower. In my opinion, this is wrong. What do you believe about this? 6)If a character dies(or is turned into frog) in a space that stipulates draw a card and leaves there 4 objects, can a character that lands there claim all the objects or just one?If there were followers amongst the dropped cards do the same rules apply? E.g. in this kind of space, are left a sword, helmet, water bottle and princess.Another character lands on.May he take just one card or the follower and then one of the objects?Furthermore,if the same occurs in village, tavern etc where it is not written to draw one card can you claim all the face-up cards there? 7)If you pass the portal of power and land on plain of peril in which another character is already there you must fight him. Also,if a whirlwind blows your Talisman in mines and you turn back to take it you should again follow the instruction in Mines. Are the afore mentioned statements true or false? 8)Finally,(I know I am begin to tire you),let's say that you die in the Crown of command by another character and you have Black Unicorn as a follower.Let's say that the other player is foolish enough not to take black unicorn. In his next turn, before casting the command spell, shouldn't he first encounter the black unicorn and then if he loses do nothing or if he wins he can cast the Command spell? Thank you very much for your time.
  13. Thank you very much but I am afraid that more questions may occur so I will trouble you again
  14. 1. It is certain that whenever you attack by strength using Psionic Blast,Warhorse or the Monk ability you add your craft value to your strength. But does the opposite value?Meaning that you have a psychic combat and you decide to add your strength value in this type of combat. If yes,in which of the 3 cases(Psionic Blast,Monk ability and Warhorse)? 2.There is an adventure card where you can enslave an enemy and add its Strength in one battle. The card stipulates Strength but can you do the same in Craft-fighting enemies?I am sorry for not mentioning the exact name of the adventure card but my friend owns the game. 3. If Assassin assassinates an enemy can he exchange it as a trophy for experience points? 4. The Guide protects also all of your followers in the chasm apart from you? 5. If Grim Reaper meets you and you roll 2,which means thta you have to sacrifice a follower, can this follower be Poltergeist or Hag's curse or because they are actually events that turn into followers, this doesn't count? Thank you for your time
