  1. I don't think you should allow jumping over pits.  The maps in D1E were a lot bigger. Allowing heroes to jump over pits by using an ability test is a huge advantage to the heroes since monsters can't test abilities. 

     

    The maps were probably designed with the idea that heroes cannot jump over pits.  And they just recently changed how pits worked in the FAQ.  Again probably with the idea that heroes cannot jump over pits. 

    I personally hate house rules. 


  2. So my FLGS has told me that waive 1 is in the city.  But I can't buy them until tomorrow because of the release date. 

     

    Why on earth would Canada and the USA have different release dates?  my FLGS even said he has never seen that before.

  3. Zombies? Went through it easy. Unfortunately a fate card advanced Doom. One question. When a monster is directed to attack an adjacent hero, but there is more then one viable. target, which hero is targeted?

     

    I always end up with the zombies bunched up and they get +3 armour.  I might need some pierce before I get in there.  Ya tough to do that one without advancing the doom.

     

    If targets are equal distance you get to choose. 


  4. I think I will challenge myself. I can't buy any other Co-ops until I beat the one the current one.  

     

    I'm doing the same.  I'm not playing the others until I beat the first one.  Its pretty hard.  The fog filled room hurts me every time. 


  5. I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to sell off the 1e minis and conversion kit cards that are being replaced by the hero/monster collections. Does anyone have an opinion on keeping vs selling your 1e stuff?

    i'm keeping my 1e stuff.  I have every thing and you never know when I might want to go back and play that version.  The conversion kit wasn't that expensive. 

     

    maybe I should sell my entire 1e set?  I wonder how much it goes for?


  6. I was just thinking about this.  This is what I want to see

     

    1 more mage and healer class so each has 6. 

     

    Another expansion with the city event deck.  Maybe a big box expansion that combines the use of the regular event deck and the city  Event deck 

     

    Finish off the 1st Ed upgrades monster and heroes.  (who does not want a new Demon  :P )

     

    After that I'd be ok with nothing but Book (campaign) releases.  But I want ones that include more then just the base game. 

     

    And ya we all want more Coop stuff, but I can't help but feel FFG may have missed the boat here.  We are getting our 3rd coop and there is no way to combine the decks.  Especially the monster activation decks.  For the most part the monster activation seem to be pretty generic based on each individual monster.  We are getting a duplicate monster in the 3rd coop how different is that activation deck (the merriod part) going to be?  probably not much.  If they found a way to combine and reuse these monster activations it would have been a start towards a big box coop where we could do coop campaigns.  I don't know. 


  7. I actually just used him the other day.  I think he was awesome.  as long as you keep him beside another hero.  I used him with Thief so he could pick up search tokens 3 spaces away. 

     

    I had a warrior I kept him beside.  Although after rereading the card I think I played him wrong.  I was only adding one dice.  The warrior was rolling a silver and a brown.  So Tomble would roll 2 silvers and a brown when standing beside him.

    I don't remember ever finding a rule on this the last time I played, you got a cite for us?

     

     

    Ships must be placed within their player’s deployment zones. When a player places a ship, he must set its speed dial to a speed available on its speed chart.

     

    0 isn't on any ships speed chart.
