Does anyone know of any Northern California stores running a championship? I live an hour from any store where people even play and am wondering if I just need to call every store in the Bay Area.

Is there any chance that there will be a list somewhere of stores hosting championship tourneys? Not all of us have a set store or meta to check in with.

The most recently updated rules say that those are the cards for the 2012 Regional Season. I read that as Regional=Special and specific rules rathar than regular tournament rules where a TO could adjust rulings if they felt they needed to. If there is never any sort of cut off date for regional-legal cards, then that creates the potential for players having to constantly scramble and revise decks all season long. First regional at Kubla was, I think 2004. The year before was held at Gator Games in San Mateo, where the organizers wore those amazingly bright orange t-shirts and my then meta found out the hard way about what sets were legal
Can't wait to see folks this year and re-invoke some good times. -

Sadly, it looks like Jeff and I won't make it to there in time for Friday's draft. But I am bringing a Highlander deck, just for fun. And hey, newer players could make a game out if it. If I play a card you've never seen, you have to drink. This way I might stand a chance of winning something:)

Only making Kubla this year but we are bringing the goblin child and she may play. Any crazy attempts at jacking up the head count this year? And are folks looking towards a possible side game of Highlander or more Cube drafting ( with optional drinking game rules:) ?

Hi guys! Just wanted to by and say 'ello. The wedding has been moved up to President's Day weekend in Vegas so life should soon become "normal". We just booked our Kubla rooms. Anyone else?

Come throuth the main entrance and walk past the main ballroom, straight to the back wall, there will be bathrooms and miniatures guys in the hall. Corridor turns left and on the left there is then the Harbour room. About what time do you expect to get here?

How often have they actually been playing? Freerider tried showing up for awhile but usually found no one or only 1 player there.

Yes. Dagmar's ability does not require him to kneel. In fact, even you had three knelt warships, you would still get +6 to your dominance count. He is awesome!
