And finally a question regarding tactic/scheme cards. The game often says discard. Discard if you use, discard if you exchange scheme cards etc. That said What happens to discarded event cards? Are they back into the event deck at the bottom ? Or mixed in ? I could not find a rule explanation for this. If discard removes them form play what happens on warp storm moving if I have no event cards to determine direction with ? If not can I draw the same event card multiple times ?Sorry for the big question at the end but I cannot find the required info in the rules or I'm just bad at reading.
i resume this topic cause i need a clarification about the event card - Scheme.
when it is replaced by a new one or it's just used, where it goes? it is discarded from game or re-shuffled back to the event's deck? there is no mention about it in the rules reference.

Hi all lads & gens i have a question about setup game preparation.
A player must place only one obj. token at time or he/she must place all his opponents obj. tokens in a single row?

i truly hope that FFG wont decline instantly a possible expansion (sets) for this nice game.

We got in a particular situation where the systems with factories of a player were all controlled by enemy. He had no ships to try to come kill some enemy ships, so he was stuck on his planets, unable to get away of them, basically removing him from the game.
I think this is a huge problem and that Deploy should allow to create ships in 1 enemy void if no friendly/uncontrolled void are avaible, initiating a combat.
hi, if it happens often in your games, you & your friends can "house-rule" it simply is not allowed invading void of any home-tile.
It sucks however cause this problem should have been solved in playtesting sessions. a game of this substance(quality,cost) should not have such kind of "bugs".

in my opinion that card is quite non-sense.
Spiritseer is an Eldar unit,why the hell he should help enemy troops also?i cant get the point, why FFG designers did that card in this way.

my doubt is about the description card ("By playing Spiritseer’s Guidance, you can rout a single unit to prevent the rest of your forces fighting in that battle from suffering any damage that execution round, and perhaps win the battle because of that unit’s strategic sacrifice".)
it says that only Eldar troops benefit of the ability's card.
in the text card however there is not such definition.

what kind of units are not affected by combat damage?
Eldar's ones or all units involved in the combat?

Yes, more or less. They've changed the wording a litte bit, but the underlined part is what's important. Right now you're able to send troops to an enemy planet using warp gate and conquer uncontrolled planets using Dread Ritual, but this was not intended.
that's change a lot the way of CSM playing.

Dread Ritual & Warp Gate need rewriting.
Samuel Bailey has been good at replying to various questions, but the answers should be put up as a official FAQ it would greatly increase the chances the game will be played right,
****! just ordered it and now i read this note! i dont like have games with errors,errata papers etc in the box!
and that's worst if game is priced lot of euros!

Don't worry about that, Jonz. You can follow basically three evolution trees (technology, upgrading the orders, upgrading the combat deck), and each route has its own reasons to be. The game is huge to explore and it's even bigger because it's totally asymmetric. Enough space to heavily customize everything and forge different armies every time

i wonder how much customization will be present in each faction units decks?
i mean: how many usefull upgrades will be worth, with only 4-5 units type in game?
my hope it's to find a good deep level of customization about it.

They dont do that because that would be too.. awesome! No, but seriously, I think it has something to do with FFG are not allowed to compete with GWs own tabletop figures, or something like that.
It would be so cool to have tiny tiny squads of space marines to move around though!
hi Primarc, so why FFG chose to put same look like figures for: battleships/cruisers, titans, tanks(SM one and ork one)?
they look like the same as the original ones of the 3D wargame,only more little....stll dont know why they chose this line..

no Sebly,i am disappointed and "meh-like" about FFG's choice to put flags instead of a bunch of figures for infantry units.
overall i red about the game, it seems interesting and good till now, hope it will remain so or even better.

I hear you Jonz, but ultimately, it shouldn't impact gameplay so much. I would have preferred minis as well.
Ummmm, time to break out some 40K minis! Should be enough room on the game board and they should fit.

The small and big flag units are the scouts and marines.
My personal taste but Too bad they didnt think and make minis/figures for scouts/SMs...

at first look the "planning phase" with orders recalls Starcraft.
about other game mechanics i cant be more specific, i want to read other stuffs and rules before havin any opinion or do comments.

in the description FFG tell us that the game board will be composed of 12 tiles (double-sided).

it's too early to talk about new materials and expansions about this game but...
i really hope to see an expansion about this new brand game by FFG.
more planet tiles, more combat cards, new races/factions..
in order of personal preference: tyranids, dark elves, necrons, tau, imperial guard.
and last but not least the gain of the 5th and 6th player.
