Holy cow! You just summarized everything. I applaud your fortitude.
FYI, under "Cunning", "perception" is spelled "preception".

Work now. Thank you for a very useful sheet.

Link seems to have died.

Impressive efforts thus far! A lot of good work seems to have already gone into a conversion.
It was inevitable that Shadowrun would be a popular conversion. In a pre-viz way, I looked to Shadowrun for my upcoming cyber-noir game (until Android is released) and I stumbled upon
Shadowun: Anarchy which was deliberately made for less crunch and more narrative. It was so good I actually contemplated adopting it wholesale until I came to my senses.
I recommend that anyone interested in cyber-spells and such take a look.

How is the game going? I am planning a sci-fi game, but I am resistant to space opera because of the amount of minutiae to monitor.
Are your players able to negotiate the politics of such a complex environment?
Thanks,
Brady

And this was written as well: "At Android: Magnum Opus, you will have the chance not only to enjoy a Genesys adventure in the Android setting, but to take part in a larger, weekend-long roleplaying event that will allow you to both explore—and give shape to—the Android setting."

From the Magnum Opus article:
"At Android: Magnum Opus, you will have the chance not only to enjoy a Genesys adventure in the Android setting, but to take part in a larger, weekend-long roleplaying event that will allow you to both explore—and give shape to—the Android setting."
Yay!

Hi there,
I don't understand why the talent Dungeoneer cancels a number of uncanceled Advantage dice. Is it a typo, that it should cancel uncanceled Threat dice?
Thanks,
Brady

Sweet!
21 hours ago, awayputurwpn said:Cool! I could see myself using this to transition some of my new D&D players to Genesys.
The only thing that pops out at me as out of place is the attribute boxes & little oval things. Where D&D has ability modifiers that are derived from ability scores (subtract 10 from the score, divide by 2, round down), Genesys just has characteristic ratings. So I'd get rid of the little ovals.
Ditto. This is great work. Thank you.

It's the same price as any D&D book. I ordered from an online game store that offers 20% off FFG products. But I also bought the pdf so altogether it still cost quite a bit.
Just finished reading some of the fluff and it is worth every penny, even with the small typos.
My games are investments, so I don't begrudge the price point. Goodness knows I've wasted tons of dough on less than stellar products.

Cool thanks!

This is exactly what I needed. Thank you.

You could also call it "Pyrrhic Victory"!
"The cost of our success was dear..."

Ditto, I think you're the design whiz here. Work that Power Point!

I'm thinking of doing the same. Do you bring your Worlds of Android book to the table? I would buy a second copy to beat up and carry around. I bought 2 copies of Genesys for the same reason. Yeah, I'm totally anal about my books. So many "action figures" unopened and never played....

I'm glad that this sourcebook has been announced. I'm sad that it is scheduled for Q2. I am not particularly interested in a fantasy setting (I already play the "world's most popular rpg").
I am, however, chomping at the bit to get the Android setting which I have to wait even longer for. Q3? Heaven forbid, Q4?
