  1. I have used similar builds. So, a thing to think about is going against an aces list. I found out the fun way that defenders die fast to an aces list.
  2. Austi-Con is a small Game tournament located in Austin, MN. I plan on running a small Armada tournament. The tournament is going to have a fleet size of 600 points using the Sector Fleet Rules, hoping SSD is out by then. The tournament will be on May 4th, 2019. Here is a link to the convention: https://tabletop.events/conventions/austi-con-2019/schedule/17 Thanks All.
  3. I ran the following list about two years ago. The idea was to maximize objective tokens. It was an interesting list but not the most fun. My opponent started at speed 0 and so we would not get into combat until about round 3. If people were unaware of certain cards, they got upset, so I stopped playing it. I like rolling dice. If you go to the Adepticon site in their events section you will find that they will be hosting a Star Wars: Legion High Command Invitational, with very little information. it does say you need to qualify to attend.
  5. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2018/4/30/lead-your-troops-to-victory/ This was posted back in April, guess we need to wait to hear about the rally point events.

This highly exclusive event and ultimate test of Legion skill features the final top eight players from the High Command Invitational. Each of the top eight players will win airfare and lodging to attend and compete for the title of World Champion. They will also have the coveted opportunity to tour the Fantasy Flight Games studio and visit with the developers before returning to the galactic battlefields, where their desperate fights will be holo-cast (or at least streamed) live to the world. This event will utilize the Star Wars Legion Rules found on the Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Legion Support page. The models used in your army must comply with the AdeptiCon Model Policy (all models MUST be WYSIWYG and standard 3- colors paint rule).
  7. Clarification, if you start a game with a commander and boba fett. The commander dies, and then you make boba your new commander. Boba would then be able to use the generic command cards to give out commands. Boba is the only one who would benefit from boba command cards, since they all say boba. It would have to be an unique situation for this to happen.
  8. Crawfskeezen, only if all your commanders were dead, then you could make Boba your commander otherwise you can not use him to give orders or leadership for rallying.
  9. You keep the same "starting list" from week to week and just add the upgrades you roll after each match for the next match.
  10. Boba and Scouts got upgraded to shipping on 9/12/2018.
  11. No reason to be embarrassed, I think at one time or another we have all made mistakes. I had to double check Chimaera before answering your question. The reason was recently, I have been experimenting with sovereign, different fleet commands, tarkin, hondo and tokens. If Chimaera was the same timing, it could have some very tricky wording that would make it super powerful.
  12. Chimaera title says command phase which is right before start of ship phase. "You gain 1 icon in your upgrade bar. You cannot equip this card if you have a icon in your upgrade bar. At the start of the Command Phase, you may discard 1 upgrade card you have equipped and replace it with another upgrade card."
  13. if we base it on Armada or X-wing, it takes about two months to come over once it is on boat, then two weeks for shipping. This would mean expect them in the middle of November. Again based on armada and x-wing, expect them to be released at the same time. FFG does not have a history of storing items in their warehouse to be released, their production method is based on print on demand. Recently, I have noticed that the upcoming page does not get updated as frequently as it used to be so some of the products might be on different ships. This means that the products might get spread out by a couple of weeks.
  14. Our first tournament, we did have the TO pick the OCD each round that way everyone had the same mission. I am not sure how fast FFG is going to release more OCD cards but supposedly it will become part of the list build, I find that interesting to see if people will modify their lists around their OCD cards. Good point on the tabling aspect, In our group, tabling does not happen very often but a good point is that most of the time, players will not be getting 12 points so tabling might be a little high on the points. Thanks for your input.
