Great, thanks thespaceinvader, that's perfect. oops Force shields meant "shield tokens"

Hello folks might need someone to draw me pictures to explain this newbie question: "if this attack hits, the defender suffers one damage and receives 1 ion token." So, if I "hit" the enemy ship, does the Ion token and damage apply? That's the way I read it, Even if the enemy ship has shields. But if the enemy ship has force shields do they shields negate the damage and the Ion effects? Cheers
