- We're getting told the Empire has 25.000 ISD Star Destroyers in its service, but it can't cough up more than ten to defend its own Emperor.
- The Battle of Geonosis in the Clone Wars involves around 1,5million Clone Troopers, which is, we're told, practically the whole army. Hitler invaded Russia with 4 million Wehrmacht soldiers alone.
- I could go on.
I mean, who cares about this stuff? Those numbers were always made-up nonsense. The important thing in Star Wars is the feeling of it, the narrative sense. Whether the Resistance consists of 400 people, 4000 or 4 million is meaningless. It's FEW. That's the important thing. If Snoke's ship is 60km or 6km, it's BIG. That MC85 looks smaller than the MC80 did in "RTOJ", but really, what does it matter? We're told it's bigger, because in Star Wars, bigger is always better, not only since the sequels. They just cranked that **** up to eleven.
But could we return to the issue of the squadrons instead of to the tired questions of whether the actually servicable (Episode VII) and very good (Episode VIII) sequels are abominations?

I own a Henry gaming table from Geek'n'Son, and it works really well. But the price tag is enough to give one the fits. 

Incredibly well. It punches way above its weight class and is able to sustain much more punishment than it should.
I've not yet faced one. I fear the day I shall. But the only chance then is to gear up speed and kill the Carriers, I presume. Luckily, aside from the Pelta, everything has speed 3. 

I think most upgrade cards are very thematic. I'll elect the most tiresomly thematic card: Han Solo. The "he shoots first" joke is really getting old.

I tried the variant with the 6 X-Wings today. It's silly, and I managed to eke out a slim win, but I don't really see me repeating this. The 6-T70-wing is unwieldy, and the bombers underperformed badly and managed to shoot the enemy CR90 with their main armament only by the nick of their teeth. Part of this may be that I suck with bombers, though ^^

My idea is to basically slow-roll and launch bombs so the enemy needs to engage. I'm mostly with the Aces for the initative, tbh. And regarding loadout, there aren't that many different bombs and mines to choose from...But I'll play around with it more. Like this?

Buddy flies it with Defenders (best wing in the game, as established by majority consensus) and a wing of Interceptors, plus Kagi to protect it from Target Locks. This ship ripped into my wings and my CR90 both in the games we played. That PDB is no joke when four dice come at you with four shots...and three force to modify into crits!

Fair enough, the stuff isn't producing itself. 

That's my general idea. The Raider has the unique ability to individually overwhelm the green dice; one bad roll, and you're in troubled waters. Those tokens don't hold forever. When there are only two Defenders left, the Huge Ship is in a much stronger position: I regenerate two shields per round, whereas you will average 4 to six damage, depending on range. 

Of course this was the design principle. I love it.

I have the same gut reaction, but then, I would have also ruled that you get a lock with the Targetting Battery at range 5, so what do I know?

I've been experimenting with lists reliant more on wings, but I still see no reason to exclude the GR75, which is hands down the best Huge Ship in the game in terms of point efficiency. What do you think of this?
