Besides, with the latest heroes like Lara dealing 10/1 damage against medium infantry, it's hard to imagine someone who gets into the game in a couple of years actually WANTING poor old Joe with his puny grenade launcher...
Possibly - but his Black Ops skill is incredibly useful. I've had plenty of games come down in the end to who won initiative.

- Ignoring them. I mean, each faction currently has already 7 heroes, and there are bound to be many, many more. Not having Sigrid and Joe isn't really a big deal in the long run.
I would think they'd have them available separately eventually. I believe they're trying to avoid having figures that are unavailable so that only some people have access to them.
But I agree they wouldn't need to worry about it for quite awhile, as it should be a long time before it's difficult to get ahold of them. -

you could find a copy of ''painting citadel tanks'', and ''imperial armour masterclass'' both are great resources. youtube also has some decent tutorials.
Thanks. I'll check out those books. I've found a few youtube tutorials, and I found that MIG Productions has several special weathering effects that come highly recommended, so I've ordered those. Sounds like as with just about anything else with painting miniatures, there's a hundred different ways to do it all.

Revised Rule Book, Page 25, under Flamethrower:
"To represent engulfing flames, all flamethrower weapons ignore cover and cannot destroy anti-tank traps." -
Thanks! I'll check those out.

So I'm almost done painting my allied troops and looking at painting up my walkers. I'm planning on leaving the main colour the same as the primer, but adding various kinds of rust, dirt, battle damage, etc. and then painting on the "dip".
Anyway, I was wondering if there are any good tutorials on doing these kind of weathering effects. What have people done that look good on the walkers? Painting is all new to me and I'm looking for some good tutorials for weathering my walkers.
Any help would be greatly apprecieated!

What about heroes sharing spaces with heroes? Is this okay? If this is the case, is there any limit to the number of heroes in the same square? It sound in the rule like you could technically have a vehicle and 5 heroes all sharing the same space. Not necessarily the best way to play, of course, but it appears to me that this would be legal. Am i correct?

Good stuff!
I've also found people get into the game and are impressed by it very quickly, and even moreso as you paint some figures and "pimp up" the game a bit. I also highly recommend adding 3-D terrain. There are some papercraft bunker walls available on BoardGameGeek that are easy to put together and make the game look 10x better. -
Thanks! That makes sense to me.

Can you use the Black Ops special ability on the first round of the game to get an extra die for initiative? Or does it only work in later rounds, because the unit with the ability isn't on the board yet on the first round?

I use the dip method, so they are first sealed with a polyurathene stain, followed by a spray of Testor's Dullcote, but I think I'll switch to Army Painter Very Matte spray, as for a couple dollars more, you get about 4 times as much (Dullcote is pretty expensive stuff for the amount you get).
