  1. Noden save you if you are using expansions and sleeved cards for that mythos deck. I use all expansions sleeved and yes the Mythos deck is huge, but I like it this way. I don't want a streamlined version of AH. Using Blackjack discard holders supports the stacks and solves the problem of toppling card piles for the Mythos and Gate decks.
  2. With the recent release of new Arkham Horror monster minis, it's not impossible to imagine other items appearing. The game isn't finished until FFG think they can't sell any more and the reprints are taking place on a regular basis. I can't see why a new expansion would sell any worse than any of the others.
  3. Cool Stuff Inc are now saying they are expecting a delivery of all the investigators in September 2016 on their website - see Arkham Horror product listings.
  4. The complete set of the wave 1 monsters is now showing as expected in September on websites such as Cool Stuff Inc, in the USA. There are also listings for other out of print individual monsters and investigators (although not the Dark Young or Shoggoth). It's not officially been announced by FFG, but someone seems to be expecting a reprint.
  5. Yes its really good news that the collection is now complete with release of the final painted figures. My recent order has now reached London, they should be here any day.
  6. That's true. It seems odd to release new ones while you leave half your product out of stock. The "new" figures are figures for existing monsters in Arkham Horror and MoM, not investigators, and they allow people to complete the set. The monster and investigator figures have taken years to sell out, even when produced in small quantities and so seem unlikely to be remade once the initial run has been depleted. I would buy more if they are rereleased, but it doesn't seem to be very profitable for FFG. They didn't even sell out when they were all offered at half price in the recent sale.
  7. No - but you can read all the posts by a particular member: Click on the member's name or picture. On their profile click on "posts".
  8. They tried (see Rex, which is a rethemed Dune game), but couldn't get the license or were unwilling to pay the asking price.
  9. I'm still happy playing the Mythos CCG. It can be played multiplayer or solo.
  10. Now ordered, as the final 4 painted monster minis are available at last.
  11. They are now available to order I ordered copies of the last 4 painted monsters needed to complete my collection yesterday. It's been a wait of several years, but I'm really pleased they have finally produced them.
  12. Yesterday I ordered the last 4 remaining monster minis which are now available . Thank you FFG!
  13. Although the investigator miniature isn't included, just a cardboard stand. You have to buy the painted investigator miniatures separately.
  14. The release of the final 4 painted figures has now been announced for the Autumn. Wave 6? Great news!
  15. Probably just the latest Disney canon. But who can tell what will make it from the last canon; a new Disney canon Thrawn novel has been announced, so some old favourites may appear.
  16. On the latest news page, just announced - the last 4 painted monster minis will be released! Great news for those, like me, who have been waiting years to complete their Arkham Horror collection. Now, if they would also release those Arkham nights promos . . .
  17. If not an expansion I'd at least like to see my painted Arkham Horror monster set complete. After many years there does now seem to be hope that this will happen. With some, if not all, the missing monster miniatures being produced as part of Mansions of Madness second edition I'm hoping for a final painted set to be released.
  18. There may be hope yet with some, if not all, the missing monster figures to be included in the forthcoming Mansions of Madness second edition. Let's hope they do release a final wave of painted figures to complete the set. At last it looks like this saga may have a happy ending.
  19. I'd buy a lot more content for Arkham Horror. I'm suprised they haven't tried some print on demand items, if they aren't sure what the demand would be. I can't see why a new expansion would sell fewer copies than any previous one, particularly as people don't always buy them in order. There's a huge amount they could do with the game, perhaps using existing components with new winning conditions. I'd like to see some more scenarios with their own themed card decks.
  20. Another year has past, but I'm still waiting for the last ones to be produced. Those gaps in my set are annoying. Why would they produce all but a handful of the monsters? These are aimed at collectors, who usually like to complete their set.
  21. Try ebay. Spare monster tokens appear there regularly. People open boxes and sell off the components. Hound of Tindalos is here for sale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arkham-Horror-Replacement-Green-Monster-Tokens-Markers-/331791186675?hash=item4d404bbaf3:g:qCkAAOSwZd1VcadD and also here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arkham-Horror-Hound-of-Tindalos-Cthonian-Special-Monster-Markers-4x-/252173505889?hash=item3ab6b65561:g:cnYAAOSwLzdWShSG Byakhee token is here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arkham-Horror-Mi-Go-Byakhee-Flying-Monster-Markers-6x-/252173505891?hash=item3ab6b65563:g:Oi4AAOSwZVhWShEI
  22. Hope this helps - League 1 notes followed by FAQ. I have notes & FAQ for League 2 if anyone is interested. ARKHAM LEAGUE 1 The city of Arkham is going to be crawling with monsters, mayhem, and magic! It is up to you and your team of investigators to combat the forces of the Great Old Ones as they try to devour our reality. Gather your forces and compete against other teams across the world, as you take on ten scenarios each harder than the last. Every two weeks a new scenario will be posted, and teams will scramble to beat the Ancient One quickly and efficiently. The following guidelines will tell you what you need to battle these foes. The league will consist of 10 scenarios. The first 2 scenarios will require the base game only. Each scenario after that will require some elements from various expansions. The listing of what expansions will be needed will be posted one week in advance and on the scenario card. A team can consist of 2-8 investigators. (Any number of players, but only 2-8 investigators) All players choose from the available investigator pool. This pool will be on the scenario itself, and will change from scenario to scenario. Any player who is devoured during the game may only replace from the available Investigator pool. If there are no Investigators in the pool, that player is out until the pool is refreshed. Pools will be refreshed every scenario. Each scenario may be played as many times as you wish, but only send in the result you wish recorded. All scores need to be in no later than July 17th, 2009. As with the first league, you are all on the honor system. Results will be posted and updated right here, on the Arkham Horror website. In addition session reports will be greatly appreciated, if your team wants to write up a session report and send it in with your results it might make it to our front page. All information needs to be e-mailed to J.R.. There is no form required, the information merely needs to be sent in an e-mail. Information you need to record: Team Name Location of your team Name of Investigators played Which, if any, Investigators were devoured Final Score (page 12 of the base rulebook, +1 for each successfully completed task or mission) How many unspent Clue Tokens your team ended the game with. (these do not add to your score) In addition certain scenarios will also request additional information be sent. ARKHAM LEAGUE 1 FAQ Hey Howdy Hey, This is JR. I am the one setting up and running the league. A few clarifications for league play. Yes it is free. All scenarios will be posted on our site in the Arkham section. You may use any investigator from any expansion. You may choose not to, and may then change to an expansion investigator when that expansion's scenarios come up. If the investigator begins with a certain item, they may take that item. No other copies of the item are put in the decks. If your investigator dies, you may choose a new investigator. The new investigator will be used for all the scenarios following their entry. The investigators can be chosen from any expansion. If you choose to stick with the scenario expansions then you may swap out any basic investigator for a new one when you get to the next expansion. If you start with an expansion investigator first, then you are stuck with that one until devoured. If an investigator is retired, they can be used later. Devoured investigators and where's and why's. If an investigator is devoured, please note that they did get devoured under the lived column. If an investigator is drawn to replace them, please place an R under the lived column. In addition if you have multiple replacements or other in game shenanigans please include that in the e-mail sent to me. As far as penalizing people for having been eaten, I think that not being able to use that investigator again for the next games is penalty enough. Rumors - There will not be a reward for completing rumors. The reasoning is chance. It is unfair to reward players for drawing a certain card when not everyone will draw one, or may not draw multiples. It would be like rewarding players for drawing All Quiet in Arkham. In each scenario there will be listed what expansion is included. Only the listed expansions will be allowed in the scenario. If your investigator dies and you begin a new one, simply add a line below the form if you don't have room. There should have been more room, I am working on fixing that now. The Location, W/L, and Terror Track level don't need 8 lines, just fill those in once for each scenario. Location is where your team is. If you are playing in Missoula, MT put that there. If you are in London, England put that there. W/L is the spot for won or lost. Yes you can send in results from games you lost.
  23. I'd like to see many more expansions, but not very optimistic at the moment. Unfortunately FFG won't give any answers to questions about the future of their products, which is frustrating. I like how Ares games has recently outlined their plans for new War of the Ring expansions and special editions over many years, even though they admit that they can't be specific on release dates or even if the limited editions will actually be produced. I wish FFG would engage in dialogue with their customers and end the obfuscation about future plans. It hasn't even been possible to get a straight answer about whether the painted monster minis range has been cancelled, which seems likely.
  24. What makes these dice suitable for Arkham Horror? Do any of the faces relate to the different levels of success in the game: normal, blessed and cursed? If these are just D6 with different markings for 1-6, I don't see the point. There are other options that have been on Kickstarter that have been particularly designed to work with the game: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/xuanhu/cucu-dice-custom-designed-dice-for-arkham-or-eldri https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2124518763/custom-dice-for-arkham-horror-elritch-horror-and-m
