I may reuse tokens from AT-43 by Gale force 9. I'm not sure if these are still sold, maybe you can get some at discount price in some store

-
Yes Zor'Ka is now a Hero-type character. All re ferences to Legendary characters have been removed from the current version of the rules. Keep in mind that even if this character is no longer a Legend it is still an impressive piece with its high Characteristics and powerfull abilities.

My question is: why did we not see this new logo in the new rule book anywhere?
I have a theory: that's because it's a new Obscura Korp sub-faction

-
I wonder why they changed the Reich logo...

You now have access to new "Gallery" menu on the Black Sheep Archives website. I've uploaded all preview pictures I had on my hard drive. Next I'll upload some miniature shots and photos from past Tannhäuser conventions in France.

Here's a first try on Equipement Pack Cards.

I have access to the old "coming soon" pictures. If you're interested I can add a gallery to the BSA so you can browse them

The scenarios in the book are a logical choice since the whole product is a big update of what has been printed until now. For example no bonus token available on the website were included in the book, nor where any of the original Take on You scenarios.
-
Note: the page number used is the one printed in the book, not the one provided by the PDF.
Rules errata
Global: Capitalized first letter are not consistently used in the manual. For example you can find some reference to "Shock Roll", "Shock roll" and "shock roll" throughout the book.
page 7: Hound Dog rules are page 33 not 32. Sten Mark II, Eye of Horus, Iikaah and Wolftrap Bonus Tokens are page 84 not 83. NOS Bonus Token is on page 70 not 83.
page 19: In the first paragraph it should be read "the character may drop..." not "thee character may drop...".
page 21: In "Attack Overview" the "attack" action reference is actually on page 18, page 21 being the detailed rules for Combat.
page 24: In "Shock Rolls Outside Combat", it refers to '"Automatic Wounds", below' when actually it's just the previous section.
page 27: In the 5th paragraph, it should be "once the overwatch attack has been resolved" rather than "once the overwatch attack has been revolved".
page 28: "Capture the Flag Mode". "Unused flag tokens are returned to the box without looking at their faces". All flags have the same front and back. The text is a copy-paste leftover reference to Crate Tokens.
page 61: "Smiljan Module". The page reference is noted as @@ instead of 57.
page 74: In the "Setup" it's "Tesla Priory", not "Tesla Priority".
page 87: "Shock Roll". It is labeled as duel, which is not consistent with introduction of combat p.21 where it is refered as a test.Non-rules errata
page 1: In the copyright information box at the bottom of the page, it is "Tannhäuser" not "Tannhäsuer".
page 15: Flavor text. The Reichdoktor name is spelled as Hoss Harbinger. In earlier material it was spelled Hass Horbinger.
page 33: Flavor text. There is a reference to "BG-2 armor vests" when it should be "BG-42 armor vests".
page 42: Flavor text. Depending on the source the Shocktruppen Officer name is spelled "Van Der Ageer" or "Van Der Hageer". The former is used in the Manual, while the latter is used in later sources including the Chronology and fiction works.
page 53: Flavor text. There is a <DATE> field instead of a normal date.
page 56: Flavor text. It is implied that the Prime Magistrate and Nikolas Tesla are two distinct persons when in fact they are the same. The phrase should thus read "the Prime Magistrate of the Sciences Council, the venerable Nikola Tesla himself".
page 60: Flavor text. "Telluric" is misspelled as "Tellruci".
page 65: "Luck". The Countess name is misspelled as "Proucevert" instead of "Pouceverts".
page 68: Flavor text. "Hierarch" is misspelled as "Heirarch".
page 71: The "Corporal 5th grade token" image used is missing the T under the chevrons. The image is in fact the one from Tala Aponi Pack.
page 80: The Objectives descriptions are not right. They are the same as those of the Catacombs map.Questions
page 26: When "Shaking Off a Wound" can a character cancel a wound that would kill him ? The current text does not require him to survive the attack like in the case of a counterattack.
page 26: In "Introducing a Reinforcement character" the method of reinforcement ("before activating any characters") contradicts the text explaining how to introduce reinforcements in a 2 Command Points game on the same page. Please explain exactly when a Troop can be sent in as a reinforcement and the consequence on a 2 CP game.
page 33: "When he takes any action other than attacking, Hound DOG’s controller may also direct Hound DOG to attack." Does this mean that Hound DOG’s controller may throw a grenade (which is not an attack) and attack with the Hound Dog in the same activation ?
page 43: "Keep Firing". Since each movement/action trigger one overwatch attack, does this mean that the Shocktruppen can make multiple attacks against the active character ?
page 51: Does the "Morphine Shot" effect last even after the end of the Turn ?
page 59: "Holy Commissar". When does the introduction of the reinforcement happen ? answering the question about "Introducing a Reinforcement character" may also answer this question.
page 59: Do the Characters need to be on the same Path as Irina to benefit from a Liturgy effect ?
page 61: "Kaali". Does its effect replace the regular attack (no attack roll, just place a meteop token) or is it in addition (resolve a regular attack, then place a meteop token) ?
page 71: "Bouncing Betty". In the text effetct the damage value is refered as "as above" but there is no such value.
page 73: When the Infiltration phase ends, do the current turn immediatly end too ?
page 83: "Boxing". Do the spent movement points come from John Mac Neal pool or from the target's pool ? -

I usually scan image and cut them out in Photoshop however I don not have the token images themselves as I don't use them in my reference cards.
For Equipment tokens it should be easy to either import/snapshot a PDF page and simply use a circle selection tool to get the intended image.

Looks nice.
Out of curiosity, does anyone have a file with the token icon graphics for custom reference cards? I'm wanting to make a set with one whole "pack" on a roughly playing card sized...er...card.
A whole pack on a single playing card ? Without the text and just the four token picture it is possible but adding the reference text it won't be possible. I'll see what I can do.

The other Corporal, Ramirez, is a corporal 5th class or something, and has a +2 initiative bonus and a special ability from the rank - so a rank with a special isn't even without precedence.
I know you'd say that

Still the ability of Corporal 5th Grade is to me part of the quality of being a CPL 5th Grade rather than just part of Ramirez backstory.

You can use the houserule you want. I'm sticking with this one

As far as I'm concerned I don't want to use any house rule with Tala's Pack. It's just that I like to discuss new Token concepts

-
Throwing a grenade is not an "attack" but an "action", so they are not penalized by smoke grenades.

-
In the French version of Daedalus there was 12 bonus tokens published. At the time of TOY demise, some tokens were still not in print form.
-
I guess that this isn't valid anymore then ?
"Recall that most modes of play only give each player 2 Command Points per turn. Because introducing a reinforcement costs 3 Command Points, introducing reinforcements is only an option in these modes when a player manages to gain extra Command Points on a given turn, such as by searching a crate or receiving them from a piece of equipment."
Revised Manuel, page 26 top of second column.
I guess that FFG will need to explain when introducing a Reinforcement. At the moment it is unclear if it's prior to your side first activation (that's how we all understood it) or before one your character's activation.
-
Looks like FFG will really need to come up with a FAQ fast

What if mind controlled character already had his/her activation during this turn?

Then he get a second activation this Turn ? Patmos is especially wicked when used against unactivated characters as it makes them unable to act on this Turn.
Note that the forced movement from the Trench Gun clearly states the it does not trigger Overwatch attack. This phrase was not included in Patmos and the character under influence really look like being "activated" even if on von Heïzinger turn (makes and attack and moves).

It already is a rank; I just want to tweak things, not change them too much

At the moment, there's no mechanical effect to 'rank' or 'ability', and I wouldn't bother trying to second guess what there might be later.
While I do understand your point, I don't agree
To me each equipement with the same name must have the same effect. Thus you can't rewrite the "Sergeant" Rank to make it fit Tala backstory as it would confuse it's use with the rank from Barry Command Pack. This is why I prefer making a new ability (or rank, or medal if you prefer)StormKnight said:
The ability you describe might be good, but its a lot harder to figure out how to balance it, and a lot more game changing. I think I'll stick with the simple one for now. Several of Tala's fiction blocks mention getting in trouble/demoted over her non-regulation explosives, so I still think its a good fit.
Why then not make it an ability that MUST be taken in place of Tala's Rank. The ability could work like Domina and allow Tala to take an Extra Grenade or Smoke Grenade from the Crate stack before the game start and put it on top of the token on the Character Sheet. It's not that powerfull (simple extra grenade ) and ties in Tala backstory.

-
Not sure about making a Rank, I think improvising explosives would be more of an Ability, maybe letting you create "on the fly" grenades in exchange of 1 CP...
-
The reference card I'm working on are for the new rules.

Interesting. The year has continued to advance and we're in 1954 now...

So Whats The Opinion So Far?

Reference cards was one of my wish for the "Revised Edition". While I'm happy to see that they were able to update the game without adding components it's clear that extra game componentns like card or overwatch tokens would have been a blast.
On the topic of the revised edition, I like the new rules but I have not been able to actually play them so I'll give my final review later on.
