I do like the Gate burst Mythos cards but some of the items are too CotDP for me... same person make them? lol and the corruption cards can be more time consuming that Rift Duty.

Where is Michael McGlen?!?!? Calvin will be lost without his mentor in mafia madness. I guess Leo Anderson will have to start an expedition to find the frozen fighter. Unfortunately Calvin cannot join Mr. Anderson (matrix jokes are not setting appropriate, I know, but funny for this situation none the less) on this trip.
Joe Diamond is very nice to see on this list and might be a good replacement for the everpresent gangster but alas Calvin cannot join him either. Bob Jenkins seems like he would be nice enough to show Calvin around and Calvin might show the salesman how to become a terrific monster slayer.
It seems that the choices for Calvin carriers is slim but it is also scary to see that the number of Unique Items to go around is also lacking.
Maybe pairing Calvin with "The Great" Drake, Sister Mary, or "Ashcan" Pete would help them avoid the 4 toughness cultists!
So once again we ask "What to do with Calvin?"
I'm going to use him with Jenny!

But for every seal with 5 clues you make you remove a doom token so unless you have a really bad luck with double doom mythos I think it's mangeable.True but no one starts off with 5 clues... so you have the spend a few turns getting the clues and then another few exploring the Gate... so around 4-5 turns if everything goes your way.

I think a Student would have more clues and thinking around 5/5 Sanity/ Stamina also not 6 Will because if it was that high they could just get their teachers to give them, "A's"!

Change it to Mimeograph but what investigator gonna haul that around... if its not portable(?)
Not sure if it needs to be Exhausted but guess it would make sense cause it cost nothing.

I like the idea but there is to much going on perhaps pick two abilities and balance his stats out a little bit more.

So let me make sure I got this right...
- 10 doom track AO
- -6 combat rating
- physical immunity
- no clues
- magic weapon shops closed
Tried it today they woke up to many gates...didn't even try to fight them... every OW encounter made me LiTaS! lol Let me see 5 turns... 6 investigator team.

Your right Kroen a spell is not weapon but does give a combat bonus like a weapon would... already said why I think he can't use uniques.

You know Mari Lambeau that investigator with Witch Blood and Third Eye, released in Dunwich Horror... Third eye has a hand usable only for spells... well what I'm suggesting is that you give this guy a third hand only usable for using common items...
as it is now a weapon could be a unique, spell or common
key word here is SUGGESTING as in my opion would seem to go in more theme with whats out there...
you know like you made monsters that let you draw a skill, allie be blessed because there are none... well there is already and investigator that lets you have a third hand only usable for spells so why not one who ahs a third hand only usable for common items?!
uh as far as I know Fedral Agents arnt trained to use Sword of Glory with a Magnum... keep in mind I'm no Fedral Agent but meh
