lol beat it 2nd (with my friend, 1st played by myself to figure out how to beat it, because knew he would give up after a few tries lol) try... 6 investigators... did the ol' Pete Old Journal combo... sealed 5 gates but won by closing all gates... 30 point score!
never even used witch blood

btw Dexter Drake is helpful to dig for Find Gate... the common tome that gives spells is where you'll find it.

My reason for his two abilities ... he is a wild animal so will not know how to maintain a Tommy Gun, 38, 357, etc and will most likely loss interest in items that are not food and discard them.
plus not a street sweeper... most animals don't go out of their way to fight, etc
Give him Holy Water, Molotov Cocktail, etc!
No clues staring off because he's animal so really lives in the moment!
The Woods are his home so will want to protect the Woods from gates, monsters, etc... even though he won't be there all the time but still should have some effect on the Woods.
Note: Tried to make the Orangutan based from my Bear investigator, ie Orangutan is not as strong as the bear and can actually use items!

Troglodytes are those shelled creatures we always find folsoles of right? I could see them having two thoughness, 1-2 Sanity damage, low horror modfier, either physical imune/ resitance with a neg 1-2 comabt modifier a neg 3 without a res/ imun and 3 Stamina damage...

Same thing goes for the first Gate of the game...

when a Doom token is added add it to Subby's if there are more monsters in streets and to Itty's if more are in a location. Incase of a tie add it to booth.
Well being the first Gate there are no monster there fore its a tie.
Both AO get a doom token!
hmmm... to your question yes guess they both get 2 each... Harsh.

or Each investigator rolls die equal to the current Stamina +1. This way McGlen could still be devoured at 1 Stamina but then again it will make the AO even more evil but thats a good thing >

One and only one.
No... turning in of trophies is one encounter... so if you have 10 Gate trophies you would have to sit there for 10 turns to get your 20 Clues, etc

Funny thing is I've never even gotten the Key but if I did. I'm only opening Gates in Unstable Locations... seems like it will make things easier on my poor Sanity of 3!

Naacal Key allows a gate to be opened at your current Location... so you could open a Gate at Saint Mary's Hospital or the Arkham Asylum.
This seems like it would cause some complications... i.e. if an investigators goes insane they end up in the Abyss or knocked out find themselves in the Dreamlands.
So in my opinion I feel the Naacal Key should only work for Unstable Locations.
Also Gates only open in Unstable Locations.

Fair its not a rule but an example to a rule.
I now location is unable, train station, etc
...just thought it was funny is all.

Location is well a location in Arkham... but if you look in the AH Rules book pg. 10 the Monster Movement example 2... it shows a Dimensional Shambler in Merchant District street area but 1. it says it moves out of its current Location... even though its in the street!

Monsters that make Heralds... weird and could be very Dangerous and also make other odd game things happen...

Example 4 player game... 44 successes are needed to kill this AO. His attack makes it +1 for each failed stamina roll... so if you rolled 5 die and got 2 successes... that total would be brought up to 47!
