  1. I don't see why people are so scared of the Corruption cards? You can get ride of the by closing/ sealing Gates!
  2. Don't all AO's have potential holes for a combat exploit?
  3. Diana Stanley, Luke Robinson, Jenny Barnes and Monterey Jack Diana and Luke seal gates while Jenny and Monterey shop and kill!

Also I could not imagine having to pass a evade check to catch Elusive monsters on the Terrible Experiment...after all it says somewhere on the card you can fight any monsters...the Wear Wolf is in a test tub so how could it get away from you? lol Good point do negative effects affect the monsters on the Rumor...like in the Witch example?

  6. Good job I like AO's that attack money. It makes people Greedy but has them spend more on items? Greedy people would spend less.
  7. Just played our 100th and lost Tsathoggua, Bast, Hypnos, Luke, Diana, Fern, Rita, DH and KH. Lost to the Ape in epic battle!
  8. How could being LiTaS be a action? Yea its a status just like being in Arkham is a Status. To me Yog's ability triggers only once at the time of being LiTaS and I'm sure this was the intent because at the time all investigators could only be devoured once. So if Yog's ability just mean LiTaS status how would it work if your "Beloved of Bast" i.e. can't be devoured unless you allow it?

DW rules pg. 5 "However, for Missions, the investigator must additional- ly discard or spend the listed sacrifice at each location at the start of the Upkeep Phase." I would allow discarding "The Messenger" to avoid being devoured by Yog-Sothoth's power. Also looks like you have two things that happen at the same time at the start of the upkeep. One being return from LiTaS and the other Sacrificing the ally. So you could chose what order they happen. Further more it would be a epic task to get four allies and then being lucky enough to have The Messenger as one of the allies. My group has not even completed JtWT under normal circumstances.

  13. I think it would be cool to win 3 times at once! Seal the Sixth Gate that also happen to be the last Gate on the board and the # investigators +4 Gate victory!

  15. Plus in 5+ player games two monster on a Gate opening. So you go to the Gate kill the monster and get the Clues from the dead monsters to Seal the Gate but we sealed the last one while Ithaqua was one Doom token away from waking. So was close
  16. We just beat this "scenario one" today score 26 with 6 investigators. Team: Mary, Pete, Joe, Walters, Dexter, Sharpe Dexter closed 5 gate because he got find gate as starting gear and got CFC Mary was the monster killer! Walter had Calvin but got cursed asap so was running around the first half of the game trying to get blessed. Closed the last Gate while Mr. Shubb was One doom token away from waking up! -1 doom due to elder sign + 1 doom token due to Stars are right... seemed easy enough scenario just go into gates and get out asap! Plus not one monster was left on the board lol and ended with three Clue Tokens. PS: blessed @5 investigators that game, Walter Three!!! times lol and bought two alleys but slim pickins thanks to Southside Strangler!

Fine he will trap people in Church and the Sceince Building lol DKW I like the new Herald...plus If you wanted to make the Jabber even more evil consider unstable locations as street locations! ...but if you where to do that I would tone his combat modifiers down a bit -3 and physical immunity and three toughness makes him harder to bet than some AOs! lol plus what if you close a Gate With a slash, where does Mr. Jabber go?
  18. How do you print them normal size ie not a giant sheet of paper? Why not just have them already set up for the right size for prining...you know make the scenarios the same size as heralds/ guardians... the ally is cool but my investigator looks like and ally compard to it sense it the so much smaller! lol

  20. I would do it how ever you like... this is sort of like the Mistrust rumor, if you fail it your focus is zero...so what about investigator cards that increase your focus or does it depend when you had the investigator card, i.e. before your focus was zero or after?

This check's modifier decreases by 1 each turn (+0 the 2nd turn, -1 the 3rd turn, etc.)" Looks like you loss the clue token then if you have no more your devoured.

Looks like when the last clue token is removed its effect happens.

Switch the numbers for stats, for example a 3/3 4/2 5/1 6/0 Fight/ Will character will be become a... 0/6 1/5 /2/4 3/3 Fight/ Will one.... but like some else said this will take allot of paying attention and will most likely be forgotten >.< but I would not add anymore abilities if your going to switch because that will keep peoples time up most of the game and adding more rules will even make the process even more taxing!
  24. Why not make the Rosa Mystica do something else beside the discard gig for example +lore checks and bring the cost down $6 seems to much after all the Necromonica cost this much!
