Hi everybody,
i have a question about this item: the card states there is artifact limit. I can't find it in rules. Is it exist? If no, what's wrong with this card?
-
Alternatively, it should be question about "Blight Haunt" from Dungeon. But I think it's unnecessary to duplicate questions. We have hermit and that's enough. There's other duplicated questions in FAQ that should be deleted.
-
I found it:
"One exception to the rule about resolving Adventure Cards in
encounter number order is that Adventure Cards with instructions
that result in their being placed in a space other than
the one where they were drawn are dealt with first, before any
other Adventure Cards are resolved. If placed elsewhere, an
Adventure Card does not affect the character who drew it at
that time." (p.7)But still have no idea how the Ghost may appear on the SAME space where it is drawn.
-
Hermit has Cursed Glade and Oasis. So, Q with Ghost is unnecessary.
-
"Ghost
Q: If the Ghost appears on the space where a character
draws it, does he have to encounter it that turn?
A: Yes."
Is it possible? Every space where the ghost may appear is non-draw. -
This way of thinking leads to conclusion that many questions in this FAQ are unnecessary (including this one).

Assassin
Q1: Can the Assassin assassinate any creature, regardless
of whether or not it is drawn from the Adventure deck or
already faceup on the space when he encounters it?
A: Yes.There's no word about creatures from board spaces. Any ideas why?
btw. Congratulations! Generally , FAQ looks good! Except some details

I'm pretty sure there is no option in The Reaper set for drawing quests random.
In polish version it is an alternative rule

Most Spells have the inscription "Magical Spell", but some Spells have nothing like this. (i.e. spells from Curse of the Black Pharaoh expansion). Does the inscription have any influence on game rules?
-
My idea:
1) You may roll 2 dice and take higher result (Warrior's ability)
2) Next, roll an extra die and take lower result (higher result from step 1 and extra die's result) (Goblin's requirement)

So, whenever you have to lay Staff of Mastery with enslaved Enemy on the board, the Staff still controls Enemy. When any character takes this Stuff he gets enslaved Enemy as a follower too. Right?
And what we have to do with enslaved Enemy, when the Staff is discarded?
-
Thanks. But I need it in upcoming FAQ.

many "when you are about engage in battle". All those are "useless" during another player's turn.
Why is it useless during another player's turn?
Is there sometinhg about attacking in this sentence?

Thanks for the clarification, Elliot

Academy
The Academy will remain here for the rest of the game.
You may buy training from expert weapon masters or
philosophers. For every 3 gold you pay, you must miss
1 turn, but gain 1 point of Strength or Craft. The correct sequence for encountering the Academy is as follows:
1) Pay the chosen amount of gold for your training, in advance (3G, 6G, 9G, etc),
2) Miss your next turn,
3) Gain 1 point of Strength or Craft, at the end of your missed turn,
4) Repeat steps 2+3 for every 3 gold you paid for your training.
If the Academy is destroyed by the Earthquake or the Destruction or Displacement Spell is cast on the Academy, any further missed turns and Strength or Craft gains are forfeited, along with all of the gold you paid for the training!!!
This same process applies to the Instructor.
OK, but can I gain for exemple 1 Craft at the end of missed turn and next 1 Strength at the end of further missed turn (or only one sort of this attributes is receivable for the whole training)?
-
First of all: can you pay for more then one lesson (one turn)? In other words: Can you learn more than one point of strength/craft per one visit (the same question for "instructor" card)?
-
Thanls for the answers
-
Is there any difference in rules resluting from the text of the Displacement Spell (where we have "not already occupied by a character") and Barrier Spell (where we have "not occupied by ANOTHER character"). This is the same rule (if so, sorry form my unawareness of gramma) or we can place Barrier on the space occupied by our character?
-
But Ghoul can choose form of the combat. With 4 poins Craft at the start and taking the Enemy (strength) as followers he is good (but hard to play) character. Craft path in the Inner Region is the best solution for him. Think about strategy.

Yes that's how you treat gold coins on a space.
Ell.
Do the coins count in 'draw cards' limit?
-
Thanks a lot, guys!

And do we have any other enocuter after closing/sealing gate (at the same Enocunter Phase)?

When you come back through the gate (during Movement a few turns later), you do not have to fight/evade the monster during the first turn, but on subsequent turns you must fight/evade during Movement as normal (if you and the monster are still there).
Cheers,
ChrisOne more question: Can I close/seal gate during this turn (at the Arkham Encouner Phase) when I come back to the Arkham from the OW?

On a serious note, the Sage is fine as he is. Gaining a spell at the start of his turn but unable to cast it until his next turn.
I thought that you may cast this Spell earlier - during another character’s turn. Am I wrong?

"any space" / "any other space"

Hi,
is it possible to teleport on the same space (e.g. when I roll 6 in Shrine)? Otherwise, some cards have a text: "any other space".
