  1. I don't think anyone could honestly say this wasn't expected. I had a lot of fun playing UFS over the years but at the same time there were tournaments where I wanted to tear my eyes out due to how ridiculous the game had become. It's nice to have some closure on the game to be honest, and means i can stop feeling frustrated over what the game has become and instead look back at how cool it was once upon a time and be happy that I was a part of it. Thanks to all the awesome people over the years that kept me coming back for more. I'm sure I'll see you around somewhere again at some point.
  2. That's because Steve has carried this game as a baby for a long time now. Kevin for even longer before that. The only reason we get those kinds of prizes is because our organised play overlords have hearts of gold and want us all to have a good time. I'm sure people elsewhere don't have such luck. I'm not sure whether the problem is that the FFG staff behind the game are unmotivated because they'd rather be doing something else with their lives than messing around with what they consider to be a dead game, or because the game isn't yielding nearly enough profits to warrant a great deal of investment into prize support and they're doing the best with what they have; but either way, it's unlikely we'll ever see the kind of support that the game used to see. That said, I can't describe how much I respect the people responsible for the Pro Tour ****. It warms my heart to see people so devoted to the game and the player base that they would put such a personal investment into the development of it with little to gain in return. It's just further proof that this is the players' game now. God knows, there are some players that could probably do a better job with the artwork having seen the new champions' cards and Tekken. If you guys love the game so much, it's you that's going to have to work for it, because FFG either will not, or cannot do it themselves. On the off chance someone from FFG is reading this: Prove me wrong please.
  3. Original Cassandra was balanced. You guys just suck.
  4. Hi, Despite being fairly unhappy about the sale of my character card on eBay, I have not permanently ceased distribution of the character card. However, I am currently at Uni with no copies at hand and have been for several weeks now, so unfortunately I must temporarily cease distribution. While I apologise to all those who have e-mailed me recently asking for a card, due to the fact that I will be unable to send any more out for the time being, I feel that I left a rather large window for people to e-mail me and sort out a card and have sent off well over 30 copies to overseas (ie. not within the UK) for free. I will make sure to make a post on the boards again when I have the cards at hand to distribute once again. Thanks for all the polite e-mails I have recieved from prospective recipients of the character card. For the most part it was a pleasure dealing with you. Cheers, JJ

  6. So there truly is nothing? Wow, that sucks. Come on FFG, sort yourselves out - your new artwork sucks, so do the horribly photoshopped non-foil new champion cards. That I can overlook. Not being able to theorycraft a deck - not so much.
  7. I've always used Twoheadeddragon and with it quite obviously not being updated in a while, I'm kind of drawing a blank. I was going to make an effort to build a deck for the new format, but it''s tough with no easily accessible list of the cards available. Can anyone help me out please?
  8. Probably James Hata. Good luck with that.
  9. Nemesis said: Dodgeball Yes.
  10. The UK is a unitary state. The more you know.
  11. NintendoMan - I never recieved your envelope, but I haven't been home in some time due to Uni. I'll make sure to send off your copy of the card when I get home if you drop me an e-mail with your address to zzasikar@msn.com. The same goes for rulemonkey and Scott Mence & friends. I believe those are the only outstanding people I owe cards to. While I'm flattered that I fetch that much at auction, I made it very clear while sending my character cards out FOR FREE that profit was not to be made from them. So you can thank this French gentleman for the end of the distribution of my character cards. I'm not really much for emo-fits, but people using my personal gifts to them (and these cards are extremely personal to me, I might add) to make money? Go **** yourself to be honest. Thanks for jumping on him, Antigoth, but forget it. It was bound to happen eventually - it was just a matter of time. Human nature and all that. Meh, and yes I realise that this will inevitably benefiit the seller by raising the price of the character card, but it equally punishes the idiots who were bidding on it rather than e-mailing me for a free copy. But I guess you were all bidding on that signed Athena (it's not even the good version, haha), right? Rofl.
  12. Sign me up. Kevin still owes me a drink.
  13. Haha, Hatman. From the stories I heard at Swedish Nationals last year, you're probably not too far off.
