@AwesomeTree_in_the_Dark, not only did I have to wear my reading glasses (as normal) to read anything on this site, I had to get my magnifying app on my phone running just to read this last sentence !
Given that @Sadgit's Sands of the Past is already supported, I guess there is no reason that I couldn't also support your efforts. If you can provide high resolution digital assets of Maze of the Drakon, I will work on getting it added.

More fun facts, faster than the lighting this time ⚡⚡⚡
25) New cover for Shield of Daqan contains alternative artworks of Trenloe the Strong and Andira Runehand:
26) Runebound 3rd contains same heroes as we know from the Descent, but some of them have different sculps and size proportions - they are better match with base game heroes, because they are not that big.
Previously Descent (1st), Runebound (2nd), Runewars and DungeonQuest shared the exactly same miniatures.
(I don't own all H&M so I cannot take better picture, sorry)
Elder Mok: smaller, slightly different skull on the staff
Lord Hawthorne: smaller, different sculp (both feet on the base)
Laurel of Bloodwood: smaller, different sculp (hair on the other side)
Corbin: different sculp (holding axe with 1 hand)
Nanok of the Blade: slightly different sculp (helmet change)
Red Scorpion: new sculp not seen in the Descent
Eliam: new sculp not seen in the Descent

Tatianna: same
Master Thorn: same
Lyssa: same
Jonas the Kind: same
Zyla: same
27) You should already know this fact if you are browsing this forum, but it is good to mention it:
@any2cards made an excellent D2e Card Viewer for Chrome and Firefox which is he still actively maintaining and updating. It is open source project on github (so you can contribute to it!) which display card images when you hover over text with the card name.
It is also good to mention that the guy is 79 years old (Birthday on 6. July 1941) 👏.
Maze of the Drakon is not included tho 😢
EDIT: it does also include Maze of the Drakon now! 😮

So how long is it going to take you to do mine now?
I mean, now that you have gotten all this practice under your belt, mine should go super quick, right? Please? 😝

any2cards got a reaction from Hannibal_pjv in I honestly hate the lack of stock in games like Descent
As someone who owns everything D1e & D2e, and is a game completionist, I feel your pain ...
Still, I am honestly curious about something ...
How long do you expect a company to continue producing and selling a game?
D1e was originally released in 2005. D2e in 2012. Should they have stock of everything for 5 years? 10 years, 50 years? At some point, it becomes unreasonable to expect the game to be in active publication. Nor would it be reasonable to have stock maintained after a certain point in time.
What is your expectation? Say the game could sell 10 or 50 or 100 or 1000 copies a year worldwide? What is sufficient sales to maintain stock?
Further, if a new version of a game (however loosely tied it is to the previous version) is released, such as D2e to D1e, how long should you still be able to get D1e?

@doubletapdaddy I think you guys may need to pick up the pace of play. You appear to have lost a player, there.

any2cards reacted to Mu0n729 in Vassal X-Wing module v9.0.0 is out (w7 & 8 ships + dials, sideslip, 4k)
Patch notes:
https://xwvassal.wordpress.com/2020/08/10/x-wing-vassal-module-v9-0-0-wave-7-8-sideslip-4k-compatibility/
Patch notes: Mu0n:
Fall 2020 new stuff readiness Droid Tri-fighter: added ship + dial + entry in xwd2
HMP Droid Gunship: added ship + dial + entry in xwd2
Jango Fett’s Slave-I: added ship + dial + entry in xwd2
Nimbus-Class V-Wing: added ship + dial + entry in xwd2
LAAT/i gunship: added ship + dial + entry in xwd2
Eta-2 actis: added ship + dial + entry in xwd2
TIE/rb Heavy: added ship + dial + entry in xwd2
Xi-Class Light Shuttle: added ship + dial + entry in xwd2
New purple maneuvers added (tallon roll 2) for the eta-2 actis’ dial
New sideslip functionality Added 12 buttons in the (until now) unused ship mouse interface ‘page’ (leftmost button) with a HMP silhouette page button; only shows up for small ships, including 6 new images under photoshop (note: I didn’t do the original illustrator design nor am I a designer, Jomblr did it)
Calculated the translations and rotations for all 12 final positions for these movements
Calculated the translations and rotations for all 12 template usage while this move is performed for obstacle overlap detection purposes
Calculated the translations and rotations for all 12 collision aide templates when a ship to ship overlap occurs with sideslips (ie when ‘c’ is pressed)
Calculated the partial movement when an autobump sideslip resolution has to happen and backtrack the ship
Vassal v3.3.2 (and 3.3.0 and 3.3.1) Bug Squashing:
4k monitor users can now enjoy normal sized (instead of tiny) java user interface buttons and menus while ALSO not mess up autorange + ship mouse interface + tallon rolls + various custom mouse interface that were added in the x-wing module.
CTRL-Left click to bring out the ship mouse interface was bugged (it brought up the old style windows-right-click menu). Alt-left click was added in windows; which translates to option-left-click for mac users. Only the rightmost alt or option key works for windows and mac users respectively for some reason.
Tsukuda_Joe: Mac User test:
Helped test out the new alt-left click to bring up the ship mouse interface with his Mac environment under Vassal v3.3.2

Is that reasonable?
This is a Descent forum. Descent 2nd edition was created using a great 1 vs all system campaign mode. I love it still today, it's my #1 since amazing products like Gloomhaven lack a gamemode: you don't get to face opossing intelligence.
So, for 3rd Edition, I'd love an improvement on that. Not some skirmish

Can't agree or like this post enough. I have had it with games I want to enjoy only coming out with co-op modes. My friends and I are highly competitive and enjoy 1 vs many far more. Unfortunately, co-op mode follows the path we have been going down for years in the US where we dumb everything down, everyone gets a participation trophy, and g-d forbid if someone's precious feelings get hurt ... or "GASP", if they lose ...

"Inserts", such as the one shown by @Bucho above have been a staple for FFG games for years. They are completely worthless. They become the very first thing that I throw out (if I even keep the original box at all) !
