  1. You take a Raft from the Purchase deck when you declare that you are building a Raft and then next turn you decide whether or not to cross the river; the Raft is then discarded. So the Alchemist is quite within his rights to alchemise a Raft when he has it!
  2. Alchemy of course targets your Objects not your charcacter, so Reflection turns Alchemy onto your character thereby cancelling Alchemy......
  3. According to the FAQ a spell needs to have an effect. You cast Marked for Glory on yourself so Reflection would have no effect. Therefore it cannot be cast.
  4. Yes. The Misfortune Spell states that the die automatically rolls a 1 which equates to still rolling the die. The 1 result cannot be rerolled but certain effects can add to the result.
  5. Personally I believe the correct way to handle assassination, is that the victim may not roll a die to add to his Strength which is also referred to as "attack roll" in the rulebook. This however does not prevent the victim from using a Bow and using it in conjunction with Marked for Glory. There is just no normal attack roll!

  16. Timescape no way. A fantasy "Astral Realm" definitely (borrowing a space title from timescape). It has to be non sci-fi though.
  17. We need an Island Expansion based around Jon's idea which he did for 2nd Edition!
  18. Enough of the Timescape. We do not require a Sci-Fi Expansion! Astral Realm? Ethereal Realm? Something which has a Fantasy element.....
  19. They are packaged extremely well, but if the post office/courier are too rough with the package, the shock reverberation will cause the plastic to snap or one of the dividing fins to snap off. Out of my latest 3 delivered, 2 had slight cracking which luckily were repaired easily with glue (slight cracking on an edge). Otherwise I would have asked for replacements!
  20. The card holders are fantastic, when they don't break in transit!!!
  21. To me, the Spell lasts for 2 rounds and the players alignment stays the same for the duration of the spell. No Alignment change during this time either voluntary or involuntary.
