is it even possible to build a competitive stalwart themed deck? I tried it and am currently at a zero in three score, and I lost all 3 by a pretty large margin. whats a good solution to lack of intrigue?

the problem I see with stalwart is that while the keyword itself is interesting, the characters that have that keyword suck. royal guard, yeah. better watchout, that 1 str guy can stand and ATTACK TWICE.

another problem is that two of my favourite cards are out, harrenhal and gated luwin. both these cards force you to shuffle, and shuffling your stalwarts sorta ruins your stalwarts

if anyone has a successful stalwart deck they'd like to share i'd be very grateful because my own attempts are failing pretty hard. some tips, maybe some combos would also do.

I've been trying the same - running Gates of Winterfell with HOD. I too have had a rough time of it, mostly due to a lack of intrigue. I think Stalwart would get a HUGE boost with a non-unique character with an intrigue icon (imagine a dual House version of Jorah with both Stalwart and Ambush!!). My best combo is using Wolf Herald to put a char I need on top of the deck, Gates to bring it into play knent, then one of many standing effects (like Followers) to stand it. That part works pretty reliably. I hoped to have enough kill effects + claim to keep intrigue at bay - that part has not worked. Gotta rework the deck to fill that ingrigue hole.
