Why not just call the card "The Force"?

Isn't that what Luke did? Use the Force?

Well, you could combo Deadeye with a Torpedo/Missile when you already have a Target Lock on the ship you're going to launch.  So, obviously with Vader you could Target Lock+Focus on your turn, then launch that Homing Missile, using Deadeye to burn the Focus and then save the Target Lock to re-roll your attack dice if the missile whifs.

You can then apply this same logic to any ship that has a Target Lock and Focus action, which includes the X-Wing, Y-Wing, A-Wing, YT-1300, Firespray, and TIE Advanced.

Now, Vader can take 2 Actions a turn, so he can do it on his own.  Other pilots will need support from effects like Squad Leader or Lando to get it off in one turn.  You could also invest in the Target Lock on a previous turn and focus on the turn you want to launch to achieve the same effect.

So really, with 75% of the ships in the game being able to do this, it's not so much "The Force" as it is having really good aim with a missile, or being a "deadeye" if you will.

Wedge with Dead Eye is pretty solid when you use Dutch for the target lock - Ties get 2 Def dice at range 3, you can reroll the blanks AND you get to turn an eyeball to a crit.
