I have the Creature Guide with me and am trying to create an attack by a pack of wild animals. My problem is there seem to be a lack of beasts listed,  11 are listed.  No big cats are mention, even though I know panthers and lions exist.  Maybe they came out in a later product?  But there are great wolves listed, but no normal wolves.

Did 2nd Edition have a larger creature pool than 3rd edition?

In the campaign i am trying to convert, i have king wolves( a type of mutant wolf) and greater king wolves ( a more successful larger mutant wolf), human wolf mutants ( the merging of wolf parts to a human). The last type of creature will be a mutant merging of daemon and wolf. The chaos sorcerer has a wolf fetist it seems. But so far I only have a greater wolf to use as a base stat creature.

I thought it be a simple matter of getting the basic creature and adding a template to create the new wolf, hybrid etc.

Anyone got any ideas what a basic wolves, stats would be? or an older product with lots of warhammer beasts in it.
