Sorry if already covered.Damage Control from rules repairs only 1 hull integrity on success .Manual Repairs does same but more  on higher successes  so better? Also can you add hard point to starship with Tinkerer ?

About Tinkerer: I'd say no.

Unless you define a starship as a piece of equipment. I don't. I remember realising this, it upset me at first, but I'm not really that upset anymore :) I can see the temptation, that it even can make sense, but I believe its supposed to apply to gear - weapon, armour, etc - and not vehicles. Although I guess a good case could be made for it to apply to vehicles too, but I'm not going to do that. Not sure if I could really.

Make sure your brain is engaged, before putting your mouth into gear.

I'd allow it, but with the usual x10 costs for ship vs personal, and require paying to mod the ship for the extra hardpoint.

It takes parts. And if sold, stolen, or destroyed…
