X-Wing FAQ (high-res pdf, 9.2 MB)

For more, here’s a word from designer Jay Little:

The fan response to Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game has been overwhelming. I could not be more pleased with the response the game has received. I am especially pleased with the number of comments I've read and emails I've received from players who have used it as their introduction to first-time miniatures gamers, or how the game provided an opportunity to share their hobby and love of Star Wars with their children and family members.
Players from literally around the world have been pitting their daunting Imperial forces against the sturdy Rebel in thousands upon thousands of skirmishes and matches. Since its launch, players have started to find their favorite pilot and card combinations and tactical maneuvers. A wide variety of squadron building concepts and strategies have been popping up on forums across the internet.
As X-Wing continues to grow and we prepare for the launch of future waves of ships (stay tuned for Slave I and The Millennium Falcon entering the fray soon), we want to take this opportunity to provide an update featuring the answers to frequently asked questions which clarify some of the game rules or timing issues that may occur. In the meantime, keep building those squadrons, posting those strategies, and enjoying X-Wing: The Miniatures Game with your friends and families. Don't forget to lock s-foils in attack position, and may your red dice roll crits!
