We already have 8 ships for this game, granted only 4 of them are available, but what other ships do you think will be shown, and which other ones do you want them to make?

Personally for me I expect to see the B-wing and TIE Bomber, but what I would really like to see it the Imperial Shuttle and TIE Defender. A lot of people think the imperial shuttle is just a weak transport cruiser, when in fact it has lots of fire power in its front, and it has a back turret as well (which would add a much more interesting role to the game if you ask me) Also I would love using it in escort missions :)

One thing I know I don't want to see though, is ships from the remade clone wars movies,  I doubt they will ever make them, but I just wouldn't like to see them regardless :b

Assuming they "wrap up" the OT, I'd like to see the B-Wing, TIE Bomber, Imperial Shuttle and a Z-95 Headhunter.

IMHO, the TIE Defender would be a) too broken, and b) that would mean one Rebel release for three Imperial - also broken. The Headhunter seems the most fun & equitable 4th ship, and it fits better with the notion of the Rebellion Era concept.

That said, after Set Three I fully expect to see Prequels/Clone Wars. Sorry. Just makes business sense.

Yeah, the TIE Defender probably would be to broken, unless they made it cost a lot, and they would still need to come out with more rebel ships to match it.

You're probably right, as a business standpoint it only makes sense to start printing clone wars era ships as well, even though I don't think they would match the theme of the game whatsoever

I doublt they would make a z-95 headhunter… Only because they look almost like Xwings with their S-Foils in closed position. Also the fact that INCOM made both of them is why they are so similar.. Granted i see some differences but they look so close i doubt they would make them

The ships i want to see, no matter their affiliation:

V-Wing

Z-95

N-1 Starfighter

V-19

Jedi Starfighter(Along with their Jedi version)

K-Wing

Belbullab-22

Ginives Starfighter

Slave 2-4

Sith Infiltrator

Sith Fighter

E-Wing

Droid Tri-Fighter

Droid Starfighter

ARC-170

P-38

Plus more, once the Falcon and Slave 1 come out i will go over this list and start adding and taking away ships, i know some of these will not work for the game and some people only like the Reble.Empire ships, i myself like all Starfighters .

I think tie defenders are pretty much just better tie advanced's and would easily fit in the game in the low 30 point to mid 30 point level.

I would like to see Tie Defenders (of course lol since thats my username) , Assault Gunboats , Tie Bomber, Missile Boat, B-wing, Z-95, E-wing, if they couldn't do a special release like a corvette maybe a T-wing would be interesting….so for wave 3 , Tie Defender, Tie Bomber, B-wing, Z-95

Trade Federation as a new faction… They've hinted in the rulebook that there could be other factions after all!

There are three general directions FFG can take after coming out with the no-brainer B-Wing and TIE bomber models…

1)  EU ships (TIE defender, gunboats, z-95s, TIE Predators, etc)

2) Clone Wars era ships (ARC-170, droid fighters, etc)

3) Repaints of existing ships (blue striped x-wing, flying tiger nose cone art Y-wing, etc)

We won't know likely until early 2013 which one (or combination of the above) they're going with.  The next release is in the 4th quarter of 2012 and we likely won't see a preview of the following wave till that one is either imminent or on the shelves around the Christmas season.  We got a bigger preview of the first two waves due to the new release of the game to hype it as well as the release coinciding with the big summer gaming convention scene.

Personally, I hope they expand the post Rebellion lineup with some of the EU ships but I suspect they'll switch to the next canon era of the Clone Wars instead.

That's another one that's too big; it's like corvette-size.

OUTRIDER I could see; good catch, Natesroom, forgot that one. B-Wing, TIE bomber, Imperial Shuttle & Outrider would be a good laydown.

While I can understand that "Uglies" (TYE-wings, Y-TIEs, etc) wouldn't  be particularly popular, there's one set that I think would be neat to have and featured prominently in the Rogue Squadron EU.

"Chir'daki" (aka Deathseeds).

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they released rules for atmospheric combat and allowed V-wings, Snowspeeders, and possibly even some ground-based platforms. That said, atmospheric combat is notoriously bad for TIEs.

Never knew they hinted, what page do they hint it on? If they added it as a new faction, that could be pretty nice too, I do think having the trade federation or the clones attack at the imperials , would just look weird though.

I've always liked the CloakShape fighter and would love to see it included in the game.

Xizor's Virago - Piloted by Xizor or Guri (can't remember if she actually flew the ship, read the book way too long ago)

Lando's Lady Luck - Piloted by Lando or Tendra or Han

Dash Rendar's Outrider - Piloted by Dash or Leebo

Most of the ships I'd like to see have already been mentioned (I can't wait for TIE Bombers…), but I think FFG could do really well with releasing a series of vinyl mats that represent different battlefields. Imagine a roll out mat similar to the grid maps you can buy for rpgs that has the Death Star trench printed on it. You could sell it as a set with a number of turbolaser turrets and booklet with various scenarios. It could be double sided and have an aerial view of a hidden Rebel base on the flipside with more scenarios for bombing/attack runs as the Rebel Alliance tries to fight off the attackers or even make good their escape.

I am in the market for just about anything. But would love a lamda class shuttle used by either side (more expensive for the alliance of course).

I would also love a plethora of TIE class fighters, especially a TIE Oppresor or TIE Predator.
