So, I have grabbed a few dice I do not use, I'm only needing one more D12 (D10's I have loads of though and D6's)…

But what Size are the stickers? Just in case they are a bit bigger then the dice I am gonna use.

They fit on my standard size Chessex dice for other games…

The stickers are fine.  It is however always a pain to get teh d12 stickers lined up right…

I was toying withe idea of getting larger white dice so they would have a small border. Not for style, but I figured they might be hard to line up.

I picked up a bunch of cheap-o dice from Game Science. The D6's and D12's were a bit small in the face for the stickers, but it worked out.  I'd like to get hold of some more stickers, though. ;)

So, have we established if they are for 16mm, 18mm or 20mm dice?

I used common d6 (like the ones that come with monopoly).  The stickers fit them exactly, but I feared with more use the edges would start to come up, so… I used a razor and cut the aforementioned small boarder around the stickers.  They are staying on the dice alot better now.

Hi everyone,

The stickers are intended to be used with 16 mm dice, although larger dice (18-20mm) can make the application of the stickers easier. If you can obtain larger blank dice, those can make applying the stickers easier as well.

Also, for any of you fellow miniature hobbyists with a can of aerosol dull coat or gloss coat varnish, a quick coat over the finished dice can also help with longevity.

Hope this helps!

I agree with what FFG_Sam Stewart said.  But if you don't have the clear coat spray you can also put a thin coat of clear nail polish on it and they will last for just about ever.

Oh, I'm going to have to try the nail polish trick! Some of the faces have started coming off mine after two weeks without use.

I downloaded the pdf dice sheet and printed them out on one of the Avery label sheets. I had to use an exacto knife to cut them out but the stickiness seems to be of better quality than the sticker sheet provided in the book. I only put them on yesterday, but it looks like a better hold. I'll see how they look in two weeks, though. ;)

Getting my beta book today. How many of each dice type do I need to pickup for the stickers?

Per sticker sheet:

4x d12 (1 force die, 1 challenge, 2 proficiency)

6 x d8 (3 ability, 3 difficulty)

4 x d6 (2 boost, 2 setback)

STUFF:

Edge of the Empire: Talent Trees; Force Powers; Character Sheet

Thank you sir! I was trying to read an image of the sheet and I at first thought some of those d8's were d4's until I counted the stickers. :)

I decided to go with bigger dice (I think these are 25mm). Love the white border, and after adding the clear coat, I think they are going to last a long time.

I have a bunch of these dice on order from my work.  Glad to see they look good.  What did you use for the clear coat?

Thanks for the help. I was able to pick up colored dice matching the stickers. However, my dice were close to the size of the stickers so the color was really not needed. I would suggest going with larger dice as in the picture above.

I used modeling clear coat. Haven't used them in play yet and only one coat.

I bought dull (non-glossy) model airplane clear coat. From what I understand those are made to go over the decals on models and keep them from getting messed up. Sounded like using them on the dice would fulfill a similar role.
