Hey I need help against the Lannister's "Knife in your Back" deck. It is from the "Lions of the Rock" expansion.

I use a House Tully deck, but I lose every match. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey if anyone can help me out with this deck it would be appreciated. I am still playing against this deck and losing big time!

Please, I just do not know what to focus on to beat this deck. Let me know if you need any more information!

A deck list or description of the deck you are trying to deal with would be helpful, as well as what you have tried to do that hasn't worked. What specifically are you not finding answers for?

Your post implies that this is an FFG-supplied deck list from the expansion set, but to be honest, I never looked at it and did not keep the packaging. So "Knife in your Back" means nothing to me. I didn't even know that was the name of it. As a result, the topic here registers as "how do I beat Lannister with Stark" for me. I wouldn't be surprised if the lack of response you are getting is due to a lot of others being in the same boat.

Some problem cards and tactics I've seen for Stark here:

Shadows and Spiders, Frey Hospitality, Game of Thrones, etc.:  The plot Forgotten Plans can help you stop these.

Kneel effects in general:  The event card Cannot Be Bribed, Cannot Be Bought is basically designed to be used against Lannister.  The event Paper Shield can cancel kneel events such as You've Killed the Wrong Dwarf!

Intrigue challenges:  Stark actually has quite a few powerful characters with intrigue icons.  It's just that not many of them are House Tully.  In addition to the Lords of Winter version of Catelyn, some other notable cards are Bolton Refugee, Maester Luwin, Damon Dance-For-Me (assuming that your opponent uses The Power Behind the Throne), Osha, Roose Bolton, and Ser Jorah Mormont.  Especially of note is the A Time of Trials version of Catelyn, who has the potential to single-handedly stop a PBtT deck cold in its tracks.

The event card At the Point of a Blade is quite conditional, but potentially very powerful against a Lannister deck with almost all its characters having Intrigue icons.

Of course, these cards are across a very wide range of chapter packs, so it's highly doubtful that you have all, or even a significant portion, of them.  That's the bad news; if you only have the core set and house expansions, then yeah, things are gonna be rough for you.  In that case you just don't have the cards you need.

Regardless of anything else, what I can say is that if you are playing House Tully, don't bother with Riverrun here.  It is far too unlikely that you will be able to stop your Lannister opponent from winning intrigue challenges against you to trigger it (not to mention that it is just not a reliable strategy in general).

My mistake on At the Point of a Blade; that one kneels power icons.  I meant The Raven's Message, which kneels all character with intrigue icons.
