Xoom will not download update in the app

 pretty much as stated in the topic heading - game was working fine before the update and i am sure that if the in app download would ever start it will work again. The problem is that it starts downloading for perhaps half a second before stopping and saying starting in the upper left corner with no download bar, i have left the .game in this state for a few hours but no progress is made. 


I have uninstalled and restarted my Xoom which is running Android 3.2 and is fully updated, I cant think of any solution Ihope that some one here will be able to give me a solution.

 I'm having exactly the same problem with my samsung galaxy tab 10.1
