 Just received mine as well. I am very happy with this purchase. The cards are of excellent quality (slightly better, I think, than cards from sets).

It also has a preview explanation of Skill Mastery -- a mechanic I think they handled well.

The individual cards have interesting, flavorful effects.

I hope FF continues along the line with additional "blister"-scale expansions.

Any chance anyone wants to do a run down of the spells and the mechanic behind skill mastery??? pretty please ...  (I used to be very hesitant about the package after reading the review - but from the content description Im more positive now :) :)

A couple are "Epic" - can't be used by anyone of less than 4th rank.

Skill Mastery Rule (abridged from Heros call): Can't train 4th in skill, instead called "mastery." Simple and easy rolls are not required unless opposed AND if desired can sacrifice all yellow dice for one automatic comet.

Sigmar's protection-rank1+1soak/+1 defense

Sigmar's wroth-rank 2- after beign wounded do extra damage on next melee attack

Bolster the spirit - rank 1 recheck fear/terrror check

Sigmar's Benediction-Rank1, requires piety mastery (which requires you to be rank4 at least), gain immediate favorupon slaying a heretic or chaos

Healing Fist-rank2, revocver a wound or two

Fearsome Prayer- rank 2: allies gain inspired or invograted for 3 rounds

Fires of Faith - rank 2gain intimidate bonus

Sigmar's smite-rank3 - blast with fiery flame 2+(5 to 10) damage

Mark of Zealous Faith-rank3 recover wounds when they inflict wounds

Flames of Purity- reduces corruption

Hammer of Purity-rank4 bonus damage

Suffer not the Witch - rank4-target loses power, wounds, fatige, strtess and possibly adidtional power

Shining example- rank4-pass fear/terror, may also apply to disease and corruption

Echo of Apotheosis-Rank 5-+ to a bunch of characteristics and stuff

Omen of the Comet-rank5 -reaction- gain emergency favor
