Hey, a quick question before tomorrow's demo ...

The demo does not list Disengage as an action available in Combat.

Instead, "Engaged in Melee" says:

"If a character moves away from an enemy whilst engaged in melee combat, that enemy can make a free melee attack against the character moving away."

- Has the Disengage action been removed from DW, or is that just something that didn't get put into the demo adventure information?

Purely the way the demo has it, the only way to leave melee, without killing or being killed, is to suffer a free attack.

I'd guess it was just left out of the demo rules.  Although in the eyes of a space marine "disengaging" might look a lot like "retreating"!  I'll be using my Rogue Trader GM's screen for Final Sanction anyway if it comes up or if anyone wants to do any non-listed actions.

Quick side note: neither Forsaken Bounty (Rogue Trader demo) or Edge of Darkness (Dark Heresy demo) included disengaging as an action.
