Where: The Games Shop, 6 Wellington Street, Aldershot, Hampshire, GU11 2DZ

 When: Saturday 17th October.

 Starts: Registration - 10:00, First Round - 11:00.

 Format: Sealed

 Entry: £27.00

Prizes: Oh yes I have those, but it is a secret, trust me though, they are fecking awesome!!!

It's all pretty straight forward really, you come on down to deepest, darkest Hampshire, you buy a W:I starter, you build your deck and you kick ass!! I can't make it any easier than that really.

This will a 50 minute time limit, Swiss tournament with no top cut. All decks must be constructed using the standard rules of the game.

Any questions please let me know.

 Steve

What does "no Top Cut" refer to?  Just wondering.

In some tournaments, mainly large ones, after the rounds of swiss are done they will cut the top 8 or whatever and play three rounds of knock out swiss to find the actual winner. I'm not a huge fan of this personally, prefer straight swiss.

Is the base set included in the entry or not?

Yeah, basically you buy the starter and create your deck from that.

Since I've already laid out over £100 to be there and put on the events that I'm running, yes.

Dang.

I can't believe the Brits are getting this game before I do. I cry foul play, sir! Fly over and we'll have a match and settle it like real men...holding a Core set or two as prize.

Hi,

I live in Crawley, which is one hour from Aldershot (if my GPS is correct). I'm not sure whether I'll be able to attend, as I might be working

Will you have enough stock?

Will there be more contests in the future?

In some ways I hope I don't have enough stock, but I have pre-ordered thirty copies so I hope that is enough.

And yes I will be running a monthly shindig, probably last Saturday of every month.

Based on other events you have run, how long do you reckong this will be? Starting at 11, and finishing at....? I'm asking because I may be able to sneak out of work early.

I may go early, if a colleague covers for me at work. One question, can you reserve a copy for me? I will confirm attendance tomorrow. And one last thing, I'll enter the postcode in my GPS, but it has failed before. Can you provide a contact number for the shop? In case I get lost.

Cheers.

I have 24 copies put aside just for the tournament, so no worries on you missing out there.............

The contact number for the shop is 01252 311443, will be cool to see everyone down here, seriously looking forward to it.
