Hoth Theme Decks

So I am the only person of my friends who owns the game, I have all 6 of the starter decks put together, (with 2 additional objectives to bring the initial starters sets from 8 to 10)

 

So now I have all these extra Hoth cards from the force packs, and I would really like to make some Hoth theme decks that are competitive each other without breaking up the starter sets. 

 

(I realize, that building and customizing is a large part of the fun but since It just me who has the cards, I would rather be able to bust out some decks and have some fun.)

 

All that said, I would love to see if anyone has any suggestion for decks, I would love ideas for 2v2 with the below objective sets. (if possible) Or 1v1 if not.  I am still pretty new to this game and only really played half a dozen games hence my request for assitance.

I would be all over thus but I don't have all the force packs from the Hoth cycle. I find it is much easier to deck build when I have the cards in my hands. I'll take a look on cardgamedb and try to come up with something soon.

Threw it together, don't know how it plays but here is a deck idea. Tbh, I like it other than the Star Destroyers being in it. I feel like there needs to be some other Objective Sets in it that give out resources. Anyway, modify it as you like. It's an extremely aggressive deck.

Type: Extreme Aggression

A Dark Time for the Rebellion x2

Sabotage in the Snow x1

I'd try it out but I don't have 3 of the Objective Sets in the deck. It looks fun, I just might change out Deploy the Fleet for something else, unless you're fine with keeping it in to toss into edge battles... I feel that's a bit of a waste on those cards though.

 

 

*UPDATE* 

 

You could probably remove Deploy the Fleet and just add in another The General's Imperative. There would be the same amount of Units and Enhancements but one Event would be switched out for another Fate card.

Recommend either taking Vader's Fist out and replacing it with an Imperial Navy objective, or merely changing your affiliation to Imperial Navy. As is, you could get a poor objective draw and be unable to play cards. When mixing affiliations in a deck, be careful to not include any more than two neutral objectives, as these provide resources for neither of the affiliations you are running.

Try this for light side, its the best I could do with just a hoth cardpool.

 

If APD hits it's amazing, remember that you can APD on your turn and your opponents turn! sometimes you get stuck in  a rut with a non 2 cost vehicle on top, fear not, use han's ability to shuffle and it might not be on your opponents turn!

Thanks for pointing that out about the neutral Objectives in the deck. I hadn't really thought that through too well cuz it was around 2am and I was sleepy.

Anyway, I like all of these ideas.  I am trying to build a Navy Hoth deck with lots of Walkers and a Rebel Hoth deck with just speeders, but I'm considering caving and splashing Smugglers in, too.  It would be my first multi-affiliation deck EVAH.  Mesa scared.

2x Preparation for Battle (The Search For Skywalker - 45)
2x Attack Pattern Delta (The Battle of Hoth - 59)
2x A Hero's Resolve (Escape from Hoth - 64)

Imperial Navy

1x Imperial Command  (Core Set - 26)

1x Lord Vader's Command (The Desolation of Hoth - 41)

1x Deploy the Fleet  (The Search For Skywalker - 46)

2x A Dark Time for the Rebellion (A Dark Time - 51)

2x The General's Imperative (Assault on Echo Base - Na_56)

1x Sabotage in the Snow (Assault on Echo Base - N_58)

2x Unstoppable Advance (The Battle of Hoth - Na_63)

 
They work well against each other, but may not be very competitive against other decks.
