Probably 4-6 Z95s and 3 of all the rest.

Hopefully people don't make it seem too interesting to field a full swarm of Z95s or I'll have to buy more.

Core/Wave 1: 4 X-Wings, 3 Y-Wings, 8 TIE Fighters, 3 TIE Advanceds; Wave 2: 2 YT-1300s, 3 A-Wings, 2 Firesprays, 3 TIE Interceptors

Wave 3: 3 B-Wings, 3 TIE Bombers, 3 HWK-290s, 2 Lambda Shuttles; Imperial Aces: 2 Royal Guard Interceptors, 2 Elite Interceptors

Huge ships: 1 Tantive IV, 2 Transports, 2 alternate X-Wings

Wave 4: 3 E-Wings, 6 Z95s, 3 TIE Defenders, 3 TIE Phantoms

I don't get to play very often and so far there is no tournament scene around here so no matter how well they fly I won't buy a single Defender, it is just too ugly/silly looking. The Phantom, on the other hand, looks pretty sweet. I might get 2-3 of those.

The real hurt will come with the Z-95. That thing looks cool and they really had me at "Rebel swarm". I don't see me getting the E-Wing for the same reason as the Defender, ugh.

Zero. Not a single one. Absolutely love that they're doing each of those designs, but I'm extremely disappointed in the models.

6x X-Wing, 4x Y-Wing, 4x A-Wing, 4x B-Wing, 1x YT-1300, 1x Firespray, 10x TIE/Line, 4x TIE/Interceptor, 2x TIE/Bomber, 2x TIE/Advance, 1x Lambda (all official FFG minis)

Plus whatever custom minis I feel like printing on my personal high resolution 3D printer.

For my part, it's gonna be 4 Z-95, 2 Tie Defender, 1 Tie Phantom and 1 E-Wing. I usually get 4 of each but from this wave, since I play during the rebellion Era (at least that's what I like to think), they all seems like prototype or very rare models, except for the Z-95. Especially for the E-Wing, was it even around during the rebellion era, or did it really came first during the Thrawn campaign?

So, very nice models and I can't wait to get my hands on them, especially the Tie Defender, but it's gonna be the wave that cost the less for me. Which is a good thing with the Aces, transport and Corvette coming too.... man the last one will remind me of those times I went solo against it in SWG... good times...

I'm a french native player so sometimes, some expressions or meanings might be lost in translation. I mean no disrespect.

Probably going with the following:

E-Wing - 4

Z95 -  6

Tie Defender - 4

Tie Phantom - 4

Z95s are going to be a swarm.  You can see that coming.  I will slowly build up to 6 getting two at a time seeing if it is any good.  If not, I may stop at 4 there.  Getting 4 of the other ships I think will be critical for the Epic Format coming up. I think that is where the Tie Defender and E-Wing will show off what they can really do.   I expect FFG to announce the Epic Format at GenCon and probably show it off a little bit.

Current thought is 4 Z's, 4 Phantoms, 3-4 E's, and 2-4 Defenders.

I already have 14 custom Z-95's (need to finish up those conversions from the old AMT/ERTL X-Wings! The work is pretty far along), so I don't need a full official swarm unless I really want to take them to a tourney.

2 of each.

As a start I will get 4 of everything but the Z-95. I think I will get 6 Z-95s. After that I might get a few more Defenders as I have loved that ship since Tie Fighter.

Texas A&M Alum / C-17 is my other ride

Rebel Scum: 4 X-wing, 4 B-wing, 4 A-wing, 6 Y-wing, 2 YT-1300, 2 HWK-290, 1 E-wing, 1 Z-95

Imperial Dogs: 8 Tie Fighter, 7 Tie Bomber, 8 Tie Interceptor, 4 Tie Advanced, 2 Firespray, 3 Lambda Shuttle, 1 Tie Phantom, 1 Tie Defender

Current projections:

3-4x TIE Defender

2x TIE Phantom

4x Z-95 Headhunter

2x E-Wing

I might someday go crazy with the Z-95 headhunter but I'm more of an Imperial fan, and would be using the Z-95s for scenario purposes to fit in wherever they did in TIE Fighter scenarios. I think competitively I wouldn't need more than 4 anyway. I predict they'd loose to TIE Swarms.

I had a mild panic attack with the wave four announcement...

Over the course of the last year I have picked up: Thirty-Four ships, Four KR Cases and One GF9 playmat with a retail total of 773.66 USD

My purchase locations vary, couple FLGS but mostly Miniature Market, which offered me a nice savings, I think I have only spent maybe 500 USD with all my discounts. <--- Which is actually like three dates with my Girlfriend or one Saturday at a Convention.

So we have two "capitol ships", Aces and Wave 4 on the way... I am going to need a bigger box!

*facepalm*

I will purchase three at a time for the smaller ships, but will get them all at once, Then very likely get two of the Aces packs(maybe three), two of the transports and at least one blockade runner...

I am trying to keep my hobby purchases piecemeal so they do not look as much as they are. That and I keep using my Girlfriend's logic against her,

"Look how much money I saved with these discounts"!

Could be worse... I could be building Warhammer armies.

I had to stop myself from getting 4 aces sets - just because I want to run 4 RG's as RG's....

I'll likely do

2-3 E-wings
3 Tie Defenders
4 tie phantoms (Given the 25 point speculation holds)
6 z-95s.

I'm thinking 3 of each of the wave 4 ships but the rebels could creep upwards as I have a small rebel bias.

I've also got 2 aces on order along with 1 of each of the big ships, and I may order a 2nd transport.

Watch your mouth kid, or you’ll find yourself floating home

Rebels: 6 X-Wings, 4 Y-Wings, 3 A-Wings, 2 B-Wings, 2 HWKs, 2 YT-1300, 2 Transports, 1 Blockade Runner

Imperials 7 Fighters, 5 Interceptors, 2 Bombers, 2 Advanceds, 1 Shuttle, 1 Firespray

On order: 3 Rebel Aces

3 of the E, Defender and Phantom, and 6 Z-95's.

Even if the Phantom is 25 points I don't see running 4 of them in a list being viable, at least not until after it's released and we know more about it.

Even then I think I'll stick with 3 for now and pick up a 4th if I really think I want it latter on. The same goes for the Z-95's I don't know if a 8 Z swarm is going to be that great so I'll get 6 now because I know I'll run at least that many and more latter if I want them.
