Cancon 2014 and A Game of Thrones LCG tournament

It's almost here..  Cancon 2014 - Australia's biggest board gaming convention.
This three-day extravaganza of board gaming, card gaming, miniatures gaming, roleplaying, lazer tag, cosplay and more is on this long weekend from Sat 25th to Mon 27th Jan, at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC).

GREAT NEWS - There's going to be an A Game of Thrones LCG event at Cancon!

What: A Game of Thrones: The Card Game joust tournament
When: Saturday 25th January - 5:30pm rego, 6:00pm start
Where: Cancon Card Games Room, Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC), corner of Flemington Rd and Northbourne Ave, Mitchell ACT, Australia
Format: Standard Constructed joust (head to head). Sets up to and including Horn that Blows. Banned and restricted lists apply. 4 rounds Swiss (50 minutes per round, 1 game per round)
Entry: $10 per person
Prizes: Game Night kit goodies, plus store credit for The Games Capital, plus plus a fun night of playing a champion card game!

And for those who've never played A Game of Thrones before but have always wanted to try, come along on Saturday at 5:30pm for a demo, then at 6:00pm you can borrow a deck from a friendly player to join the battle for the iron throne.
 
There'll also be events for all the other competitive LCGs, and for many CCGs/TCGs too.
