In this picture below, what would happen to the hero if I used an OL card, like Dark Charm or Grease Trap, to make the hero move between each of the Ice Worms?

Would the hero lose 2 stamina per space traveled?

Yes.  Stupid Steelhorns.  I hope he dies.  Or actually, I hope he doesn't.  So you can swallow him.

I managed to play for the first time without Steelhorns the other day, actually.  The difference was like night and day.  Suddenly I could block hero movement properly and herd heroes where I wanted them.

I actually managed to win First Blood and chose Cardinal's quest, in hopes of getting an early relic to help for the rest of the campaign.  Unfortunately, Merrick missed 3 of 4 rules raising zombies, and only got one through the exit.  The party was pretty hurt but closing in on him, so I knew raising more zombies was useless at that point.  I waited for them to get almost on top me, then dashed him back to the entrance, where the reinforcement demon lords were pouring in.  The party had to work through reinforcements all the way back.  I may only have gotten one zombie through, but I've got 11 cards in hand for the second half now.

I had Merrick fail three times in a row once.  It actually worked pretty good for me though.  Merrick's nasty AOE really bites hard and earned a lot OL cards.

TL;DR: Grease Trap: Yes. Dark Charm: No.

So that's a very good question and there's a lot more present than people think. (It's not a simple yes or no answer)

Firstly, it will depend largely on the card. Simple one first.

Grease Trap: The hero is still considered a hero, and so would lose 2 fatigue per space (FFG has clarified that Aura stacks, so it's highly likely that Freezing also stacks)

Dark Charm: Here's where it gets complicated. For the duration of the move, the hero is considered a monster, which means that it may freely move through other monsters and may not move through other heroes (Q3). However, the hero is still heroic at heart (Q6) for defending itself. My guess, though, is that this really only applies to defending against their own attack, and that the spirit of Q3 (being able to move through monsters) would mean that they would NOT suffer fatigue in this case, since freezing only applies to heroes and not just any figure. As a corollary, this would also be the case for other abilities such as Aura and Web.

That does bring up a good, though slightly OT, question, though: If a hero is treated as a monster and is attacking itself, can other heroes target them with abilities like Stoneskin. My guess is that in the case where the hero is attacking itself, the attacking aspect is considered a monster and the defending aspect is considered a hero, so they WOULD be able to.

If it weren't for the fact that a Dark Charmed hero could attack itself, there wouldn't be any confusion since it'd ONLY ever be treated as a monster and at no other time can any figure attack itself, so there wouldn't ever be this "They're also heroic" stuff going on.
