I'm really excited by the worldwide approach of this new Cthulhu game. A lot of members compare it to Arkham Horror, I hope it will not, 2 same game it looks to lazy for FFG. I'm a big fan of games like Fortune and Glory, Tales of the Arabian nights and Agents of SMERSH, will the game be more in that spirit? If yes are you planning to create a book of encounter?

It will be awesome if finally one of the game match the literature aspect of the mythos more than the rolling dice of most of the game where options are possible and each investigator will have his strength and weakness based on skills more than stats (like the system of the previous games cited). The Strength of Lovecraft was in his writing too, having an investigation game based on storytelling will be awesome.

It appears from the info given so far that it's closer to F&G as far as Game play is concerned .I'm glad FFG finally opened up the Mythos to a world wide setting.
