I just got an Amazon gift code which I used to significantly up my collection, so at the moment I have:

3 starters

3 Y-wings

2 of the rest of the current expansions

I really wanted to get that 8 TIE swarm and multiple starters just seemed the way to go. Plus, I've got enough to just give a friend a whole rule/token/template set and a Rebel squadron.

I'm not sure how you are using the word "including". If you have two core sets, you should have at least 4 TIE Fighters. Do you mean you got 2 cores and in addition you got 3 of each expansion?

Plenty for my little band at the moment.

Next will be a Xwing expansion, then it'll be my birthday closely followed by xmas.  Pretty much everything else will be on my 'please buy me this' list.

Well, I just ordered my second batch, which was a duplicate of my initial order EXCEPT for an additional TIE Advanced. When it rolls in next week, I will have:

6xTIE, 1xTIE Advanced, 4xX-Wing and 2xY-Wing. That's not bad for an "amateur."

As a side note, THIS go-round I went with CoolStuffInc.; nothing wrong with Miniatures Market, but they're out of everything! CSI is actually marginally more expensive (literally pennies per item), but they have much highter Shipping. MM cost me $10 for actually one more model, and CSI cost me $15.19. So, we'll see how the rest of the experience goes.

Holy crap! That's awesome.

With how many points are you playing? And how long takes one session with that many miniatures?

You could fit another basic Y wing and stay under 100 points if you want to cover your bases….. :)

Be seeing you.

If you could have combined those two orders, you could have paid $0 shipping, they both offer free shipping over $100…

True, but I had no notion of how ultimately interested I'd be in the game at that point.

My totals:

5 X-Wings
3 Y-Wings
7 TIE/In
1 TIE Advanced

Incidentally, since today is my day off (and I have too much time on my hands), I ran a spreadsheet to calculate the average number of each ship purchased by those of you who have posted in this thread, just so you can see where you are in relation to others:

Average # X-Wings:  3.87
Average # Y-Wings:  2.35
Average # TIE/In:      6.39
Average # TIE/Adv:   2.03
